The “Set Process Parameters” page appears.

Parameters for

Use the drop-down list box to select one of the following options based on which you wish to define parameters. The system lists the following options:

  • Common - Select this option if you wish to define parameters relating to timesheet, timeoff details.

  • Common - ARS -  Select this option if you wish to define parameters relating to attendance report system

  • Booking Type - Select this option if you wish to define parameters relating to booking type.

The system displays “Common” by default.

Note that the system defaults the relevant booking type if this page is launched from the hyperlink in the “Set Process” column in the multiline of the “Manage Booking Types” activity in the current business component.

 

In the drop-down list box alongside, the system lists the following options:

  • If “Common” and "Common - ARS" is selected as the “Parameter For” the system leaves this field blank.

  • If “Booking Type” is selected as the “Parameter For” the system lists all the booking types as defined in the “Manage Time Booking Types” activity of the current business component.

Data entry in this field is mandatory if “Booking Type” is selected as the “Parameter For”

By default the system leaves this field blank.

The system displays the following field:

Status

Indicates the status of the process parameters as defined for the process parameter “Common”. The system displays the following values:

  • Active – Indicates that all the process parameters are defined.

  • Inactive – Indicates that for any one of the process parameters is not defined.

The system performs the following in the “Status” field:

Displays the status of the “Booking Type” value if the following conditions are true:

The system displays the following fields in the “Process Parameter List” multiline:

Process Parameter

The attribute of the entity. See table

Permitted Values

The permitted values for the attribute of the entity.

For example,

Select 1 for Required (this means the process parameter is mandatory for the entity).

Select 0 for Not Required (this means the process parameter is not mandatory for the entity.

Value

The value of the parameter. (Alphanumeric, 10).

The system displays the following fields in the “Process Parameter List” multiline:

Value Selected

The description of the value selected.

Example: If

Value is 0, then,

Value Selected = “Not Required”

Status

Indicates whether value has been defined for the parameter – line.

  • “0” for “No” – that is if the time sheet entries of an employee to be maintained only in the time zone of base station irrespective of the station where actual work is performed

  • “1” for “Yes” – that is if the time sheet entries of an employee to be maintained in the respective reporting work station.

 

Default Base Station

Specify Default Base Station:

  • Specify the Valid Station description defined under Station master in the  Maintenance Setup Process.

Note that this option should be specified only when the set option ‘Station based time reporting required’ set as ‘No’
