Help on Booking Code
This page allows you to search and retrieve the details of a book code.
You can carry out the search using the booking type, booking code, status, and user identifiers. Additionally, you can also carryout search using the additional search criteria.
The system retrieves all the booking codes associated to the booking type based on the search criteria entered. On confirmation, the selected booking code is transferred to the required page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Booking Code” field in the “Search Criteria” group box or the in the “Activity Details” multiline in the Map Activity” page of the “Manage Time Booking Types” activity of the “Time Tracking Setup” business component.
The “Help On Booking Code” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a booking code. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Booking Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the booking type associated with the booking code which you wish to retrieve. The system lists all the active booking types as defined in the “Manage Time Booking Types” activity of the “Time Tracking Setup” business component. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
Booking Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the basis on which you wish to retrieve details of the booking code. The system lists the following options:

In the editable box alongside, enter the number corresponding to the code / code description selected for which you wish to retrieve the details. The system retrieves all the booking codes applicable to the number entered here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the booking code. You can select from the following options:
The system displays “active” by default. |
User Identifiers |
Use the drop-down list box to select the key identifiers associated with the booking code that you wish to retrieve. The system lists all the identifiers as defined in the “Manage Time Booking Types” activity of the current business component. By default the system leaves this field blank if a value is selected in the “Booking Type” drop-down list box. |

In the editable box alongside, enter a value corresponding to the user identifier selected. The system retrieves all the booking codes applicable to the value entered in this field. |
Addl. Search |
Use the drop-down list box to select one of the following based on which you wish to retrieve the booking code. The system lists the following options:

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The code identifying the task corresponding to the booking type. For Example:

The status of the booking code which could be active or all. |

Cost Center |
The code identifying the cost center where the assets are located. |

The description of the cost center. |

The person responsible for the booking type. |

User identifier Type 1 |
The user defined key identifier. Example: Work Location. |

User identifier Value 1 |
The value corresponding to the identifier type 1 defined. Example: Aurora. |

User identifier Type 2 |
The user defined key identifier. Example: Truck #. |

The value corresponding to the identifier type 2 defined. Example: TN-09Z |

User identifier Type 3 |
The user defined key identifier. Example: Customer Name. |

Note: Leave all the fields blank; to retrieve all the booking codes available in the database.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a part number.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
