Authorizing time records - alternate authorizer
Select the “Authorize Time Records - Alternate Authorizer” activity in the “Timesheet” business component.
The “Authorize Time Records - Alternate Authorizer” page appears.
The system displays the following field in the “Primary Authorizer Info” group box:
User Name |
The login user name. |
Date |
The current system date. |
The system displays the following field in the “Primary Authorizer Info” group box:
Primary Auth. Code |
The code identifying the primary authorizer. |
Note: Click the hyperlinked code number to view the “Authorize Time Records” page of the primary authorizer.
Emp. Name |
The name of the primary authorizer. |
Role |
The role of the primary authorizer for which the login user is nominated as the alternate authorizer. |
Records Pending? |
Indicates whether the reportees of the original supervisor has time records (time off records, timesheet records, and attendance records) that are in pending status, this could be “Yes” or “No”. |
What you can do in this activity
View pending time records
4Use the “Pending Records Info.” group box, to view pending time records of the reportees of the primary authorizer.
The process parameter “Time records approval by alternate authorizer” for the parameter “Common” must have been set as “Required” the “Set Process Parameters” activity of the “Time Tracking Setup” business component.
The login user, who is the alternate authorizer must be active as defined in the “Maintain Alternate Authorizer” activity of the current business component
