Assigning Role

Page Overview: You can map one or more roles to a message to ensure that specific employees in work centers or stations receive the notification messages. The roles are essentially job classifications of employees. It implies employees executing specific jobs mapped to message will receive the message automatically as and when the regulatory agencies issue the notifications.
Select the “Assign Roles” link at the bottom of the “Maintain Notification Messages for Flight Operations” screen.
The “Assign Role” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Job Classification” multiline:

From the drop-down list box, select the job classification that you want to associate with the message ID. The employees with the job classification will be sent this message. The drop-down list box displays the descriptions under process variable "Job Classification" defined in the Maintain Quick Code activity of the “HR General Information” business component under the business process "Unit Structure". |
Click the "Save" pushbutton to save the role details.
