The “Record Bank Charges” page appears.

Ref. #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the voucher type for which you wish to retrieve details in the multiline. The system lists the following options:

  • Check Run No. – Select this option to retrieve payment vouchers that are paid through check only.

  • Customer Payment – Select this option to retrieve details of customer payment vouchers.

  • Pay Batch – Select this option to retrieve details of payment vouchers of Pay Batch.

  • Prepayment Voucher – Select this option to retrieve details of supplier prepayment vouchers

  • Sundry Payment – Select this option to retrieve details of sundry payment vouchers.

By default the system leaves this field blank.

 

In the editable box alongside, enter the value corresponding to the reference number selected. The system retrieves all the records applicable to the value selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the records irrespective of the reference number.

Finance Book

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book in which the entries are posted. All the finance books mapped to the login organization unit are available for selection.

The system displays “All” by default.

Bank Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the bank code from which the voucher has been created. All the bank codes that have been defined in the “Bank / Cash Definition” business component will be available for selection in the ascending order.

Pay Date From

The starting date in the range of dates on which the payment has to be made. (Date Format).

The system displays a date which is one month lesser than the current system date by default.

To

The ending date in the range of dates on which the payment has to be made.

The system displays the current system date by default.

Pay Mode

Use the drop-down list box to set the mode in which the payment voucher has been created. All the modes of payment set for the selected bank code will be available for selection, which could be Check, Direct Debit, Demand Draft, EFT and All.

The system displays “All” by default.

Instrument #

The code identifying the check.

Search Option

Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis on which you wish to retrieve records in the multiline. The system lists the following options:

  • All

  • Charges - Accounted - Select this option if you wish to retrieve vouchers for which Bank charges are  recorded and posted.

  • Charges - Not Accounted  - Select this option if you wish to retrieve  vouchers for which Bank Charges are recorded, but not yet posted.

  • Charges - Voided - Select this option if you wish to retrieve vouchers for which Bank Charges were posted and then voided.

  • No Charges - Select this option if you wish to retrieve vouchers for which No charges were recorded.

The system displays “All” by default.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline:

Bank #

The bank code from which the check has been issued for the Document #.

Document Type

The type of the voucher which could be Payment Voucher, Sundry Payment, Customer Payment, or Supplier Prepayment.

Document #

The code identifying the document which could be the voucher or the pay batch, which could be Payment Voucher #, Sundry Payment #, or Customer Payment #.

Pay Date

The Pay date from the Payment Voucher on which the payment is to be made.

Pay Mode

The Pay mode of the Document #.

Instrument #

Code identifying the instrument number [Check # or Company Reference] recorded in the Document #

Pay Curr.

The code identifying the currency in which the payment is made.

Document Amount

The net transaction amount from the Document #in the Document pay currency.

Document Status

The status of the document #.

Charge Curr.

The code identifying the currency in which the charges have to be recorded.

Note that Charges must always be recorded in Bank Currency.

Bank Charges

Charges levied by the bank, which is specified in bank currency.

Ensure that the amount entered in this field is positive and greater than zero.

Payee Name

The name of the payee from the payment voucher.

Sundry Payment No.

The number identifying sundry payment generated for the bank charge.

Voucher Status

The status of the Sundry Payment Voucher.

Ø  Click the “Record Bank Charges” pushbutton to save bank charge information and generate Sundry Payment Voucher for the bank charges.
