Basics of using a typical web page

 The "Recording Operating Statistics " page appears.

Cost Center

The identification code of the cost center related to the cost element for which you want to record the statistics. Mandatory.

Help facility available

Note: The cost center that you specify must have an “Active” status.

Financial Year

Use the drop-down list box to select the financial year for which you want to record statistics. Mandatory. The system lists the financial years that are defined in the MAC Calendar and having the status “Open”.

By default, the system displays the current financial year in this field.

Financial Period

Use the drop-down list box to select the financial period. Mandatory. The system lists the financial periods defined in the MAC Calendar for the specified financial year.

Allocation Element

The cost element for which you want to record forecasted, budgeted and actual revenue s/costs. Mandatory.

Note: The cost element that you specify above must be mapped to the cost center specified in the “Cost Center Details” group box.

Forecasted Value

The amount of estimated revenue / cost for the cost element. Mandatory.

Budgeted Value

The amount of budgeted revenue / cost for the cost element.

Actual Value

The amount of revenue / cost incurred on the cost element.

Page Overview

The “Record Operating Statistics” page is a data entry page that enables the recording of the following for cost elements,

4 Forecasted revenues/costs

4 Budgeted revenues/costs

4 Actual revenues/costs

You must record the above information for a financial year – financial period.

However,  this activity must be used only if the revenues/costs forecast is based on a formula.
