Reviewing aircraft value / generating Aircraft Value report
Select the “Review Aircraft Value” link under the “Reports – Fixed Assets Management” business component.
The “Review Aircraft Value” page appears.
Select one of the following radio buttons under “Report Type” to indicate whether you wish to view the details of the report or generate a report document.
On Screen View |
Select the radio button to view value details of the chosen aircraft. |
Offline Report |
Select the radio button to generate an Aircraft Value report for the requested aircraft reg. # / aircraft model / aircraft group. |
Reviewing Aircraft value – On Screen View
On click of “On Screen View” under “Report Type”, the page appears with the following search criteria.
Specify the following to retrieve the details of the required aircraft.
Aircraft Reg. # |
The aircraft for which you wish to view the asset book values. Help facility available |
Date |
The date as on which you wish to view the aircraft asset book values. Note: The date must be the current date or previous month(s) end date. |
Select the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve capitalized asset values of components currently attached to the requested aircraft.
Alternatively, to retrieve even those parts that are not mapped to an asset tag, select the “Show Exceptions” check box as ‘Yes’ and then click the “Get” pushbutton. To exclude parts with no asset tags, select ‘No’ in the check box.
These details are displayed for the retrieved aircraft in addition to A/ C Reg. # and Status.
Model # |
The model of the aircraft. |
MSN # |
The manufacturing serial # of the aircraft. |
Total Value |
The asset book value of the aircraft. |
Airframe |
The asset book value of the airframe of aircraft. |
Engine |
The asset book value of the engine in the aircraft. |
APU |
The asset book value of the APU in the aircraft. |
Landing Gear |
The asset book value of the landing gear in the aircraft. |
Others |
The asset book value of the other capitalized components attached to the aircraft. |
Note:
If parent-child relationship exists between components attached to the aircraft, and if these components are mapped to the same asset tag, the above information shall be displays only against for the NHA part only.
However, if there is no parent-child relationship between components mapped to a single asset tag, the above information displays for the first part # - serial # retrieved in the multiline

The tree on the left of the screen, displays components currently attached to the aircraft.

Retrieving data in the multiline using tree
Click the aircraft node at the top of the tree to display entire component information in the multiline.
Click a component code to display details of the components and its child components in the multiline.
On click of a component node in the tree, the “Aircraft/Component Value” multiline on the right displays the following details of the component as well as its child components.
The “Aircraft Value” multiline displays the following:

The type of the component, such as Airframe, Engine, Landing Gear, APU and Others. |

The classification to which the part belongs. |
Part Group |

LLP? |
Indicates whether the part # - serial # is a life limited part. Displays: § ‘Yes’, if the part has a specific lifespan. § ‘No’, if the part has no defined lifespan. |
Replacement Type |
The replacement type of the part # - serial #, such as LRU or SRU. |
Condition |
The current condition of the part # - serial #. |
Part Category |
The user-defined category to which the part belongs. |
Stock Status |
The stock status of the part # - serial #. |
As on |
The current date or end date of the previous month(s). |
Aircraft Model # |
The model of the aircraft. |
Aircraft Group |
The group to which the aircraft belongs. |
Position Code |
The position code at which the part # - serial # is attached to the aircraft. |

The ownership of the part # - serial #, such as Owned, Customer or Supplier. |

The status of the aircraft, such as Active, Inactive, Frozen or Under Creation. |
Exception? |
Indicates whether the maintenance asset mapping for the part # - serial # exists or not. |
Remarks |
Displays ‘Maintenance Asset mapping not available’, if the part # - serial # is not mapped to asset tag. Remains blank, if maintenance asset mapping exists for the part # - serial #. |
NHA Serial # |
The serial # of the Next Higher Assembly/parent component in the aircraft. |
NHA Part # |
The part # of the Next Higher Assembly/parent component in the aircraft. |

The reference document that initiated the part # - serial # change in the maintenance asset mapping definition. |
To proceed, select the following under Links:
Select the “Maintenance Asset Identifier for Capital Inventory” link to maintain asset identifier details for capital inventory parts.
Select the “Maintenance Asset Identifier for Maint. Objects” link to maintain asset identifier details for maintenance objects.
Generating (offline) Aircraft Value report
Generating report based on specific criteria
Upon selecting the “Offline Report” radio button, the page displays the “Generate Report” group box in which you can specify criteria for the report.
Company |
To generate the report for a specific company, select the company from the drop-down list box. |
A/C Model # |
To generate the report for a specific aircraft model, select the model from the drop-down list box. However, to include all models in the report, select ‘All’. The drop-down list box displays all ‘Active’ aircraft models defined in the Aircraft component. |
A/C Group |
To generate the report for a specific aircraft group, select the group from the drop-down list box. However, to include all groups in the report, select ‘All’. The drop-down list box displays all ‘Active’ aircraft groups defined in the Aircraft component. |
Aircraft Reg. # |
To generate the report for a specific aircraft, enter the aircraft registration or tail number. Help facility available |
Date |
The date as on which you wish to generate the report. Note: You must specify the current date or the end date of the previous month (s). |
Aircraft Status |
To generate the report for aircraft in a specific status, select the status from the drop-down list box. However, to include all aircraft in the report regardless of the status, select ‘All’. The drop-down list box displays the following: All, Active, Inactive, Frozen and Under Creation. |
Inc. Exceptions |
Check the box to include all parts attached to the aircraft in the aircraft regardless of their asset tag mapping. However, to exclude parts with no asset tag mapping from the report, leave the check box empty. |
Click the “Generate” pushbutton to create the report document.
The Aircraft Value report is generated for the requested search criteria. A report is allotted an identification number called Run #. It takes a pre-defined duration to generate the report. In this duration, the run status for the report is set as ‘In Progress”; the system does not allow you to generate the report again with the same criteria. Upon elapsing of the duration, the run status becomes ‘Completed’. Now, you can generate the report again.
The multiline displays the following details of the generated report:

The date on which the report was generated by the login user. |

The file that contains the report. |
Retrieving reports based on specific criteria
Specify criteria for retrieving specific reports generated previously:

To retrieve the report with specific run #, enter the run #. |
Run Status |
To retrieve reports in a specific status, select the run status from the drop-down list box. On the contrary to retrieve all reports regardless of the run status, select ‘All’. The drop-down list box displays the following: All, In Progress or Completed. |
Generated by |
To retrieve reports generated by certain user, enter the user name. |
Addl. Search by |
Use the drop-down list box to select the A/C Reg. #, A/C Model #, A/C Group or Aircraft Status on the basis of which you wish to retrieve data in the report. Enter the value for the attribute in the adjacent input box to fetch the wanted reports in the multiline. |
Report Date From |
The start date of the period for which you wish to retrieve reports. |
Report Date To |
The end date of the period for which you wish to retrieve reports. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The multiline displays the following:

Run Status |
The run status of the report – In Progress or Completed. |
Report Date |
The date of the report. |
Report Generated On |
The date on which the report was generated by the login user. |
File Name |
The file that contains the report. Click the data hyperlink to view the report that appears in an Excel Worksheet. |
