Talent Review

This page helps you to view employee’s career progression, performance, compensation history and the training track besides various other parameters linked to the talent development strategy. It helps to establish talent pool aiming at sustained mentoring of critical skills. Talent review enables business leaders to quickly evaluate the current situation and helps determine various actions required to be taken to meet business goals.

Employee talent profile on various parameters is displayed in different sections. The employee information section provides personal, qualification, grade, work location, join date, and promotion details. The system displays the snapshot of previous experience with details of employee’s career progression in the organization. The system shows brief history of annual compensation with reference to CTC and Base Salary in the Annual Compensation section. You can view the employee’s current position competencies as against minimum desired levels set for the position in the Competency section. The system displays employee’s performance and potential for the last 5 appraisal periods. You can view the number of actual and planned training hours of the employee. You can view the certification and patent related achievements of the employee. You can view the number of employees reporting to the selected employee, attrition rate and number of identified successors of the employee.

Procedure

To view talent review details

  1. Click Talent Review from the Portal Login menu.

  2. Click Talent Review on the right menu.

  3. In the Employee Information section, choose the Name of the employee to view the talent performance details. The system displays the Position, Department, Job, Grade, Join Date, Highest Qualification, Last Date of Promotion, Organization, Work Location, Reporting To and 9-Box Rating of the employee.

  4. The Career Progression section displays the previous experience, all distinct position titles, number of years worked in each position from employee’s primary assignment records and career path for next level.

  5. The Annual Compensation section displays the employee’s annual compensation across past 5 years in a graph with calendar years on X axis and amount on the Y axis. The Base Salary tab shows the annual standard base salary of the employee. The CTC tab shows the annual standard CTC of the employee.

  6. The Competency section displays the employee’s competency depicted in a Spider/Radar chart. The Current tab shows the position competency based on employee’s current position. The Future shows the position competency based on employee’s future current position.

  7. The Review section displays the employee’s performance and potential ratings for the last 5 appraisal periods. The Performance tab shows the employee’s performance (final rating) with appraisal periods on X axis and final ratings on the Y axis. The Potential shows the employee’s potential rating with appraisal periods on X axis and final ratings on the Y axis.

  8. Achievements section displays the achievements summary of the employee. Click the Certificate Data hyperlink to retrieve the education details of the employee. Click the Patent Data hyperlink to retrieve the patent details like employee code, patent number, patent description and patent granted date of the employee.

  9. Training Attended section displays the number of training sessions attended by the employee. The system displays the total number of actual training sessions in hours attended by the employee during the calendar year. The system displays the total number of training sessions planned for the employee during the calendar year.

  10. Others section displays the number of employees reporting to the selected employee and number of identified successors of the employee. The bar chart displays the attrition rate of reportees and organization.
