Work Experience

This page allows you to capture the details regarding employees previous work experience in one or more Organizations. The name of the Organization, the date from and till which he/she served in that Organization, Organization Type, Industry Type or Sector (Chemical/Engineering/Pharmaceutical), Job and Department, Equivalent Job within the current Organization and Remuneration along with Currency.

Procedure

To add work experience details

  1. To add work experience details, select Employee Information Management from the Portal Login menu.

  2. Click the Work Experience menu in the right hand side of the page.

  3. Enter the name of the Organization in which the employee worked previously.

  4. Choose an option from theOrganization Type combo to specify the type of the organization which the employee belongs.

  5. Choose an option from the Industry/Sector combo to specify the industry type or sector to which the organization belongs. The system lists all the available values from Employee Additional Information activity.

  6. Enter the Date From which the employee worked in the organization.

  7. Enter the Date Till which the employee worked in the organization.

  8. Enter the Role or Position of the employee.

  9. Enter the Department of the employee.

  10. Enter the Gross Annual Remuneration drawn by the employee for a year in the earlier organization.

  11. Choose an option from the Currency combo to specify the name of the currency in which the remuneration was paid. The system lists all the available values from Employee Additional Information activity.

  12. Enter the Reason for which the employee opted to change his/her earlier job.

  13. Click the Add button to add the experience details.

Note: The system saves the experience details.

  1. Click the Clear button to clear the entered experience details.

To edit or delete work experience details

  1. To edit or delete work experience details, select Employee Information Management from the Portal Login menu.

  2. Click the Work Experience menu in the right hand side of the page.

The system retrieves and displays experience details in the multiline. Make required modifications to the data displayed. Refer Fields in this Screen topic for an explanation of the fields displayed.

  1. Click the Save icon in each row to save the modified experience details.

  2. Click the Delete in each row to delete the experience details.

To view work experience details

  1. To view work experience details, select Employee Information Management from the Portal Login menu.

  2. Click the Work Experience menu in the right hand side of the page.
