Using online help

Using this page, the process parameters related to automation of asset capitalization can be defined.  

The “Set Asset Automation Options” page appears.

Parameter Level

Use the drop-down list box and select the Parameter Level as “Company Level”, to define parameters at Company Level.

By default, the system displays “Company Level”.

Business Process

Use the drop-down list box and select the business process for which parameters are enabled under parameter level that has been selected previously. The system lists the option “Fixed Assets Management” along with a blank value.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Category

Use the drop-down list box and select the applicable categories for which parameters are enabled. The system lists the values “All”, “Asset Automation” and “Sub Category”.

The system displays the value “All”, by default.

Sub Category

Use the drop-down list box and select the Sub Category for which the parameters are enabled.

The system lists the blank value, by default.

 

Use the drop-down list box to select the Sub Category value based on the previous Sub Category drop-down value. See Table for more details.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results”:

Business Process

The business process for which parameters are enabled under Company Level.

Category

The applicable category for which parameters are enabled.

Sub Category

The Sub category for which the parameters are enabled.

Sub Category Value

The Sub category value for which the parameters are enabled.

Process Parameter

The process parameters defined for the selected ‘Parameter Level – Business Process – Category – Sub Category – Sub Category Value’ combination.

Permitted Value

The permitted value for the process parameter.

Value

The value defined the process parameter.

The system displays the following:

Status

The status indicating whether process parameter is defined or not. The system displays “Defined” or Not Defined”.

Error Message

The error message displayed when the value specified for the process parameter is not valid.
