Note: 1)) You can modify price details in this tab; if 1) The invoice basis is “Actuals” or The invoice basis is “Quote” and “Modification to Quote Values in Invoice Release” parameter for Service Sale Quote is set to 0 in the Set Sales Process Parameters activity of the Customer component and, 2) The invoice release is in “Fresh” status. Click the “Addl. Charges” tab.

The “Current Ref. Details” group box displays the following:

Cust. Order #

The customer service order f that you selected in the Exe. Doc. Info.” section.

Doc. Type

The type of execution document that you selected in the Exe. Doc. Info.” section.

Doc #

The execution document that you selected in the Exe. Doc. Info.” section.

The “Charges Summary” displays the following:

SPL # / Rev. #

The service pricelist and its version that defines the additional charge.

Billable Charges - Task

The sum total of task-level charges from the “Charges Pricing Details” multiline, which is billed to the customer.

Billable Charges - CO

The sum total of customer order-level charges from the “Charges Pricing Details” multiline, which billed to the customer.

To retrieve pending additional charges and include them in the invoice release

 In the “Revision Info.” group box, select the “Get Latest Info.” pushbutton to retrieve charges that were added to the customer order through the “Record Additional Charges” activity since the invoice release was confirmed.

The system displays the following:

Count

The number of additional charges that are not included in the invoice release.

 Select the Save Addl. Charges pushbutton to include charges in the invoice release.

To retrieve additional charges from the invoice release

 Select the following in the “Search Filters” group box:

View Option

Use the drop-down list box to indicate the version of details of additional charges you wish to view. The drop-down list box displays the following: Billing Info and Actual Info. Select:

  • Billing Info. If you wish to view details of the additional charges as billed to the customer.

  • Actual Info. If you wish to view details of the additional charges as per T & M pricing.

Note: You cannot modify any data in this tab page, if View Option is selected as “Actual Info.”

 You can search for a customer order by a number of parameters as explained below.

Search by

Use the first drop-down list box to select an attribute of the customer service order that you wish to retrieve. The drop-down list box displays the following: Billable?, COA?, Pricing Task? and Processed?.

Use the second drop-down list box to indicate whether the attribute that you select in the first drop-down list box is applicable for the customer service order that you wish to retrieve. The drop-down list box displays the following: Yes and No.

 Select the "Search" pushbutton.

Note that the system includes JV into the Sale Quote automatically after generation of Customer Release and inherits the reversed JV into CO Addl. Charges.

Note: The system inherits JV related charges that are non-billable also.

 Enter the following in the multiline.

The “Charges Pricing Details” multiline displays the following information on the customer service order or the shop work order /repair order/customer purchase order/AME Ref. # that you have selected in the “Exe. Doc. Info.”  section.

I

Indicates whether the task is billed in the invoice release. The indicator: 

  • ‘P ’denotes the charge is not included in the invoice release. (This means you can include the charge by clicking the “Get Latest Info.” pushbutton.

  • ‘E’ denotes the charge is included in the invoice release.

Price Disp.

Details of pricing of the charge. For example, a) whether the price for the charge has been determined and is available for billing in the relevant service pricelist. b) The reasons for not pricing the part, if prices for of the part have not been set yet.

Charge Level

Indicates whether the additional charges pertain to a specific task or the entire customer service order, such as  “Order” or “Task”

Doc. Type

The type of execution document to which the task is allocated, if the charge level of the additional charge is “Task”.

Doc. #

The execution document to which the task is allocated, if the charge level of the additional charge is “Task”.

Parent WO #

The parent work order of the execution document to which the task is allocated.

Task #

The task for which additional charges are levied to the customer. This field does not display any value, if the additional charge pertains to the customer order (charge level = Order-level).

Seq. #

The order of execution of the task as set in the execution document.

WBS Code

The WBS code of the task for which additional charges are levied to the customer.

Task Desc.

The description/short name of the task for which additional charges are levied to the customer.

Pricing Basis

The pricing basis for the charge, such as T & M Price or Fixed Price.

Charge Code

The charge code as defined in the T/C/D master that is billed to the customer.

Charge Description

The description/short name of the additional charge that is billed to the customer.

Variant #

The variant of the charge that is billed to the customer.

Variant Description

The description/short name of the charge variant that is billed to the customer.

To record details of additional charges in the invoice release

 Enter the following in the multiline.

Value (PL Curr.)

The amount of additional charge incurred on the task or customer order in the currency of the service pricelist associated with the customer order. This field is mandatory for task level charges.

The multiline displays the following:

PL Curr.

The currency of the service pricelist.

Exch. Rate

The exchange rate for conversion of service pricelist currency to customer order currency.

 Enter the following in the multiline.

Value (CO. Curr.)

The amount of additional charge incurred on the task or customer order in the currency of the service pricelist

The multiline displays the following:

PL Curr.

The currency of the service pricelist.

Exch. Rate

The exchange rate for conversion of service pricelist currency to customer order currency.

Price Factor

The rate of mark-up on the additional charge incurred on the task or customer order.

Mark-up

The mark-up price on the additional charge incurred on the task or customer order.

Pricing Description

The description of the final price as specified in the service pricelist.

Work Center #

The work center for the task for which the additional charge is levied to the customer.

Task Status

The execution status of the task, for which the charge is billed in the invoice release.

 Enter the following in the multiline.

Mark-up

The mark-up price on the additional charge incurred on the task or customer order.

The multiline displays the following:

Final Price

The amount of additional charge incurred on the task or customer order that is charged to the customer.

 Enter the following in the multiline.

Pricing Description

The description of the final price as specified in the service pricelist.

Work Center #

The work center for the task for which the additional charge is levied to the customer.

Task Status

The execution status of the task, for which the charge is billed in the invoice release.

 Enter the following in the multiline.

Accounting Usage

Use the drop-down list box to select the accounting usage for the additional charge. This field is mandatory for customer order level charges and not relevant for task level charges.

The accounting usage you select must be mapped to a valid account.

Cost Center

The cost center to which the additional charge is applicable, The cost center for the additional charge is mandatory, if the account associated with the account usage is mapped to cost centers. On the contrary, if the account associated with the account usage is not mapped to any cost center, you my not specify any cost center.

The cost center you specify must be valid for the account that is mapped to the accounting usage.

Help facility available

The multiline displays the following:

CO Remarks

Additional information on the additional charge/customer order.

Quoted?

Indicates whether the task is quoted in the quotation for the customer order.

Qt. App. Status

The quotation status of the task as available in the quotation for the customer order.

 Enter the following in the multiline.

Processed?

Select the check box to indicate that you have verified the pricing details of additional charge.

Inv. Remarks

Detailed information on additional charge included in the invoice release.

The multiline displays the following:

Sys. Billable?

Indicates whether the system recommends billing of the additional charge to the customer. Based on non-billable definitions found in the service pricelist, the system determines whether the additional charge must be billed to the customer or not. This field displays “Yes”, if the additional charge must be billed to the customer and “No” for the contrary.

Billable?

Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether you wish to bill the additional charge to the customer. The drop-down list box displays the following: No and Yes.

Note: You can specify the charge as non-billable even if the task for which you want to bill the additional charge is billable. However, you cannot set additional charge as billable, if the task has been defined as non-billable in the “Reg. Billing Info.” page.

COA?

Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the task is out of scope of the customer order The drop-down list box displays the following: In Scope and Out of Scope. Select

  • In Scope to indicate that the task is stipulated in the customer order.

  • Out of Scope to indicate that the task is not stipulated in the customer order nonetheless was carried out due to an unforeseen event/requirement.

Note: You can set “COA?” for the additional charge to out of scope even if the “COA?” for the task is in-scope. However, the opposite of this is not possible.

 Enter the following in the multiline:

Processed?

Select the check box to indicate that you have verified the pricing details of additional charge.

Inv. Remarks

Detailed information on additional charge included in the invoice release.

The multiline displays the following.

Pricing Notes

More details of the additional charge as available in the service pricelist.

Task Type

The type of the task allocated to the customer order/execution document.

Repair Classification

The repair classification of the task as defined in the execution document.

Repair Process Code

The repair process associated with the task as defined in the execution document.

WS Ref. Code

The work scope of the task as defined in the sale contract of the customer order.

WS Notes

Additional information on the work scope of the task defined in the sale contract.

Incl. /Excl. Ref. Code

The inclusion/exclusion reference code for the task as defined in the sales contract. This indicates whether the task is stipulated in the customer order.

Incl. /Excl. Notes

Additional information on the inclusion/exclusion of the task from the customer order.

Part # (Main Core)

The part repaired/serviced by the task.

Mfr. Part # (Main Core)

The manufacturer part # of the part repaired/serviced by the customer service order.

Mfr. # (Main Core)

The manufacturer of the part repaired/serviced by the customer service order.

Part Serial #/Lot #

The serial # and/or lot # of the part repaired/serviced by the customer service order.

Part Desc.

The short name/description of the part repaired/serviced by the customer service order.

ATA #

The ATA # relevant to the part.

ATA Desc.

The description of the ATA # relevant to the part.

A/C Reg. #

The aircraft repaired/serviced by the customer service order.

Last Updated Log

The prices/rates as  specified at the time of creation of the customer order.

However, this field does not display values, if the prices/rates have not changed since they were defined in the sale contract.

Pricing Source

The input source of prices, such as System or User.

This field displays “System”, if no user has modified the prices for additional charge since they were set in the sale contract. Conversely, “User” is displayed here, if users have modified the prices in this activity. 

 Enter the following in the multiline.

Modification Notes

The reasons for change in the rates/prices of additional charges of the task. This field is mandatory, if the user has modified any of the fixed prices.

The multiline displays the following.

Last Modified by

The employee code and name of the person who modified the charge details.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the employee modified the charge details.

 Select the “Save Addl. Charges” pushbutton to save the details that you have entered in this tab.

Note: The system allows you to modify additional charges only if the customer order is in “Fresh” status.
