Selecting Employee to Authorize Declarations
Select the “Authorize Employee Tax Declarations” activity from
the left pane.
The “Select Employee to Authorize Declarations” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Data Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Enter the following.
Tax Setup Unit |
From the drop-down list, select the tax setup unit of the employee. Tell me more |
Tax Year |
From the drop-down list box, select the year for which you require to authorize the employee tax declarations. |
Tax Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the tax type for which you require to authorize the employee tax declarations. Example Other Income, Allowance Exemption and Contribution Deductions. |
The system displays the following upon selecting the tax year.
From Date |
The date from which employee tax declarations are applicable. |
To Date |
The date until which the employee tax declarations are submitted. |
To select through direct entry
Use this method if you know the complete employee code of the required employee.
Enter the employee code of the employee whose tax declaration you
need to authorize, in the “Employee Code” field.
Select the “Authorize Tax Declarations” hyperlink beside.
To select through search criteria
Use this method if you know only a few characters of the employee code. In the search option, you can specify search criteria, with or without wild cards, for a range of employee details. The system fetches the employee records that match the combination of search criteria specified.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the
following fields.
Status |
The status of the employee tax declaration record to be retrieved. |
Employee Code |
To view all the employee codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee codes in any combination with wild card “*”. Example: ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1 |
Department |
To view all the department containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these departments in any combination with wild card”*”. |
Status |
From the drop-down list box, select the status of the tax declaration record to be retrieved. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
The system displays the following in the multiline.
Tax Type |
The tax type for which you require to authorize employee tax declarations. Example Other Income, Allowance Exemption and Contribution Deductions. |
Item |
The tax item pertaining to the tax type. |
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
From Date |
The start date from which the tax item is applicable. |
To Date |
The end date until which the tax item is applicable. |
Taxable Income |
The income for which the tax is applicable. |
Exempt Amount |
The amount for which the tax is exempted. |
Proof |
From the drop-down list box, select any one of the following options.

To authorize tax declarations
Select the checkbox against the record(s) in the multiline.
Select the “Authorize” pushbutton to authorize the tax declarations
of the selected employees.
To reject tax declarations
Select the checkbox against the record(s) in the multiline.
Select the “Reject” pushbutton to reject the tax declarations of
the selected employees.
