Vietnam Tax Parameter Setup

Select the “Vietnam Tax Parameter Setup” activity under the “Vietnam Statutory Master Definition” business component.

The “Vietnam Tax Parameter Setup” page appears.

Note: Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

The mandatory fields are represented as bold.

The system displays the following

Vietnam Statutory Setup Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the Vietnam statutory setup unit for which the tax parameter setup has to be defined. The combo is loaded with the corresponding OU names and defaulted with the OU currently logged in.

The system displays the following in the “Access History” group box:

Effective Period

The effective period for the tax parameter type. The drop-down displays the latest values by default. Use the drop-down values to view previous ‘history data’.

Enter the following details in the “Tax Parameter Details” multiline:

Parameter Value

The value of the tax parameter.

The system displays the following in the “Tax Parameter Details” group box:

Parameter	The detailed description of the parameter. These Tax Parameters required for setup are fetched from System Defined metadata.
Value Type/UOM	The type or unit of measurement of the parameter value. The parameter values entered should be in accordance with the Value Type/UOM specified as metadata.

Any remarks or comments regarding the parameter setup details.

Enter the following details:

Modification Option

Use the drop-down list box to specify the modification option. The combo is loaded with “Correct” and “Update”. The system by default displays “Blank” on launch of the page.

§ Correct: The modified details are saved with the current effective date.

§ Update: The modified details are updated with the new effective date.

New Effective From

The new effective date of updated records from when the entries become valid.

Remarks

Any remarks or additional modification information regarding the parameter setup of statutory details.

Note: Modification Option: While modifying the parameter details, you can use one of the two available modification options viz., “Correct” and “Update”. If you choose the Correct option, the changes you make will come into effect in the existing record itself. If you choose the Update option, the system closes the existing version of the record and will create a new record containing the changes you make. You are to specify a new effective date which will become the effective date for the new record.

Click the “Submit” pushbutton:

The system saves the parameter setup details.
