Vietnam Tax Exempted Item Master
Select the “Vietnam Tax Exempted Item Master” activity under the “Vietnam Statutory Master Definition” business component.
The “Vietnam Tax Exempted Item Master” page appears.
Note: Clicking this icon available near
certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.
The mandatory fields are represented as bold.
The system displays the following
Vietnam Statutory Setup Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the Vietnam statutory setup unit for which the Tax Exempted item master has to be defined. The combo is loaded with the corresponding OU names and defaulted with the OU currently logged in. |
Enter the following details:
Tax Exemption Group |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax exemption group of Vietnam statutory. The combo is loaded with values from user modifiable quick codes. |
Exemption Group Max Limit |
The maximum exemption limit value for the selected tax exemption group. |
The system displays the following in the “Access History” group box:
Effective Period |
The effective period for the tax rate slab. The drop-down displays the latest values by default. Use the drop-down values to view previous ‘history data’. |
Enter the following details in the “Tax Exempted Item Details” multiline:
Tax Exempted Items |
Use the drop-down list box to select the items which are exempted for tax calculation. The combo is loaded with the values based on selected tax exemption group. The list of Tax Exempted items are loaded from user modifiable quick codes. |
Tax Item Max limit |
The maximum tax limit of the item. |
Comments |
Any comments or remarks regarding the item master details. |
Note: The cumulative sum of Tax Item Max Limit should be equal to the Exemption Group Max Limit value in the header.
Enter the following details:
Modification Option |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the modification option. The combo is loaded with “Correct” and “Update”. The system by default displays “Blank” on launch of the page. § Correct: The modified details are saved with the current effective date. § Update: The modified details are updated with the new effective date. |
New Effective From Date |
The new effective date of updated records from when the entries become valid. |
Remarks |
Any remarks or additional modification information regarding the tax exemption details. |
Note: Modification Option: While modifying the tax exemption details, you can use one of the two available modification options viz., “Correct” and “Update”. If you choose the Correct option, the changes you make will come into effect in the existing record itself. If you choose the Update option, the system closes the existing version of the record and will create a new record containing the changes you make. You are to specify a new effective date which will become the effective date for the new record.
Click the “Save” pushbutton.
The system saves the tax exemption details.
