How to use the web page

Using Online Help

The “Tax Exempted Item - Pay Element/Accumulator Mapping” page appears.

Note:* Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

The mandatory fields are represented as bold.

The system displays the following

Vietnam Statutory Setup Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the Vietnam statutory setup unit for which the tax exempted item mapping details has to be defined. The combo is loaded with the corresponding OU names and defaulted with the OU currently logged in.

Tax Exemption Group

Use the drop-down list box to select the tax exemption group of Vietnam statutory. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in the “Maintain Quick Codes” activity.

Tax Deduction Pay Element

The pay element deducted against the item.

The system displays the following in the “Access History” group box:

Effective Period

The effective period for the tax exempted item. The drop-down displays the latest values by default. Use the drop-down values to view previous ‘history data’.

Tax Exempted Items

Use the drop-down list box to select the items which are exempted for tax calculation. The combo is loaded with the values based on selected tax exemption group.

Tax Exemption Group

The tax exemption group of Vietnam statutory.

Pay Element Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the code that identifies the pay element.

The system displays the following in the Tax Exempted Item Details” multiline:

Pay Element Desc

The description of the pay element.

Accumulator Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the code that identifies the accumulator.

The system displays the following in the Tax Exempted Item Details” multiline:

Accumulator Desc

The description of the accumulator.

Remarks

Any remarks or additional information regarding the mapping of tax exempted item with pay element and accumulator details.

Modification Option

Use the drop-down list box to specify the modification option. The combo is loaded with “Select”, “Correct” and “Update”. The system by default displays “Select” on launch of the page.

§  Correct: The modified details are saved with the current date.

§  Update: The modified details are updated with the new effective date.

New Effective From Date

The new effective date of updated records.

Note: Modification Option: While modifying, you can use one of the two available modification options viz., “Correct” and “Update”. If you choose the correct option, the changes you make will come into effect in the existing record itself. If you choose the Update option, the system closes the existing version of the record and will create a new record containing the changes you make. You are to specify a new effective date which will become the effective date for the new record. 

The system saves the tax exempted item mapping details.
