Select “Record Time sheet” from left pane.
The “Record Time sheet” page appears.
The page displays the following field.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Enter / select the following fields to fetch specified employee details.
Time Management Scheduling Unit |
From the drop down list box, select the Time Management Scheduling Unit in which you must create the time sheet. The drop-down list box displays all time management scheduling units for which you have the permission to create. |
Employee Code |
Enter the employee code. Help Available |
The system displays the following information.
Department |
The department to which the employee belongs. |
Position |
The position of the employee. |
Grade Set |
The grade set of the employee. |
Grade |
The grade of the employee. |
Job |
The job description of the employee. |
To record the time sheets for a specified period
Enter the following in the multiline
Date |
Each date on which you require to enter the hours worked for a project. |
Project |
From the drop-down list box, select the project for which you require to enter the hours worked. |
Stage |
From the drop-down list box, select the specific stage of the project that was completed on the date. |
Hours |
Enter the number of hours that you worked on the project. If the employee has worked for more than the normal shift hours, the surplus of the shift hours is treated as overtime. If the employee has worked for less than the normal shift hours, the remainder of the shift hours is treated as leave. |
Remarks |
Enter any remarks that are specific to the project. |
Note: If you have worked on more than one project in a day, enter the details for each project in a different row.
The multiline displays the following
Day |
The day of the week, such as Monday or Tuesday, that pertains to the date you had entered. |
Day type |
The day type, based on the employee schedule fetched from Time Management. For example working day, rest day, off day, public holiday etc. |
Stage |
From the drop-down list box, select the specific stage of the project that was completed on the date. |
Status |
The status of the project, which is one of the following:

In the multiline, check the “Select” box pertaining to each project that must be saved or submitted.
Select the “Save” pushbutton, to save the information as a draft. Alternatively, select the “Submit” pushbutton if the project details have been finalized.
To retrieve the draft, through search, and edit
Enter some or all of the following search criteria values, to specify the characteristics of the time sheets you want to retrieve.
Year |
The year in which the time sheet draft was recorded. By default the current year is displayed. |
Month |
Select the month in which the time sheet draft was recorded, from the drop-down list box. The list shows all the 12 months in a year. By default the current month is displayed. |
From Date |
Enter the start-date of the desired duration. By default, the system displays the date of the Monday of the current week. Ensure that the date you enter is within the “Month” you had selected. If “From Date“ is left blank, the time sheet details from the 1st of the month until the “To Date“ are displayed. |
To Date |
Enter the end-date date of the desired duration. By default, the system displays the date of the current week’s Saturday. If the “To Date” is left blank, the system displays all the time sheet details from the “From Date” until the system date or the last day of the month, whichever is later. |
Entry Date |
Instead of entering the “From Date” and “To Date”, enter the date on which you first recorded the time sheet information. |
Status |
Enter the status of the time sheet that you want to retrieve, from the drop-down list box. The two statuses that time sheets can be assigned are “Draft” or “Authorized”. 4 Select ‘Draft’, if the time sheets you want to retrieve have been saved but not submitted. 4 Select “Authorized”, if the time sheets have already been submitted. If you select “Status” as the sole search criterion, the system will display all records with the selected status, for the current month only. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
The multiline displays the following fields, for the records that satisfy your search criteria
Date |
Each date of the selected duration, for which time sheet details have been entered already. |
Day |
The specific day of the week on which the date falls. |
Day Type |
The day type, based on employee schedule fetched from Time Management. For example working day, rest day, off day, public holiday, etc. |
Status |
The current status of the time sheet, which can be either “Draft “or “Authorized“ |
Note: If no field is entered for search criteria, all the time sheet details for the current month are displayed.
The system displays the following field, under the multiline
Hours |
The sum total of hours worked for all the records shown in the multiline. |
Edit the following fields in the multiline, if required: “Date”, “Project”, “Stage”, “Hours” or “Remarks”.
To insert a new project, click the plus sign in the toolbar above the multiline. A blank row appears above the current position of the cursor
To delete project details, check the “Select” box contained in the project to be deleted. Click the minus sign in the toolbar above the multiline
Select the “Save” pushbutton, if you intend to edit the time sheet information later. Alternatively, select the “Submit” pushbutton if the time sheets have been finalized and there are to be no more changes.
To retrieve the draft and submit it
Use the search criteria fields to retrieve the time sheets. If you select “Status” as a search criteria, choose “Draft” as the drop-down value.
After the system displays the time sheets based on your search criteria, edit any of the fields if required.
In the multiline, check the “Select” box contained in each project that must be submitted.
Select the “Submit” pushbutton.
