From the “Select Employee for Updating Competency” page, select the required employee name in the multiline.
The “Update Competency Details” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Course Code |
The unique code identifying the course |
Course Description |
The short description of the course. |
Start Date |
The start date of the course. |
End Date |
The end date of the course. |
Training No. |
The training number of the course. |
Employee |
The name of the employee. |
Assignment No |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Position Title |
The title of the position held by the employee. |
Department |
The name of the department to which the employee belongs. |
Job Title |
The title of the job held by the employee. |
Overall Evaluation Rating |
The overall evaluation rating of the employee on the training program. |
Overall Post Training |
The overall rating of the employee after the training program. |
Evaluation Rating (%) |
The total evaluation rate, in percentage. |
The following details are displayed in the “Competencies Possessed” multiline.
Note: This multiline displays all the competencies possessed by the employee before attending the training program.
Competency Code |
The unique code that identifies a competency. |
Competency Description |
The description of the competency. |
Minimum Desired Level |
The minimum desired level of competency that is required for the training program. |
Level Possessed |
The level of competency that is possessed by the employee. |
Note: This multiline displays all the competencies acquired by the employee after attending the training program.
The following details are displayed in the “Competencies Acquired” multiline.
Competency Code |
The unique code that identifies a competency. |
Competency Description |
The description of the competency. |
Minimum Desired Level |
The minimum desired level of competency that is required for the training. |
The following details can be updated in the “Competencies Acquired” multiline.
Level Acquired |
The level of the competency that is acquired by the employee after the training. |
Valid From |
The start date from which the updated competency level is valid. For example, a valid start date can be 15th February 2002. |
Valid Till |
The end date till which the updated competency level is valid. For example, a valid end for a particular competency can be 15th July 2002. |
Update |
Specify ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to update the competency level. Since there are two values, by default, the system displays blank value in the drop- down list box. You can select “yes” to update the competency or select “No” otherwise.. Select “no”, if you do not want to update the competency level. |
Effective From |
The date from which the updated competency level will be effective. |
Comments |
Any comments pertaining to the update of competency for the selected employee. |
Select the book icon beside the “Comments” field. The system displays a dialog box containing the comments that were entered previously, if any.
You can view, modify or delete the content.
Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
Select “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
The following details pertaining to the update of competency are displayed.
Authorization Status |
The status of authorization of the acquired competency. It can take any one of the following values: “Authorized”, “Pending for authorization” or “Rejected”. |
Rejection Reason |
The reason for rejecting the update of competency acquired by the employee. |
Select the “Save” push button to save the details.
