Select the required employee by clicking the “Employee Name” field in the multiline of "Update Competency" page.
The “Update Competency Elements” screen appears.
The system displays the following.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Employee |
The name of the employee. |
Competency Code |
The unique code that identifies a competency. |
Competency Description |
The description of the competency. |
Maximum Level |
The maximum competency level set in the process parameters for competencies. |
Effective From |
The date from which the updated competency details are effective.

The system displays the following in the "Competency Details" multiline.
Competency Class |
The description of the competency class. Example ”Behavioural Traits”. |
Competency Class Weightage (%) |
The weightage in percentage for the competency class. |
Competency Element Description |
A description of the competency element. |
Minimum Desired Level |
A value to indicate the level to which the employee should be proficient in the competency against a maximum value set in the process parameters. |
Competency Element Weightage (%) |
The weightage of the competency element in percentage. |
Level Acquired |
The level of the competency that is acquired by the employee after the training. |
Valid From |
The start date from which the updated competency level is valid. For example, a valid start date can be 15th February 2002. |
Valid Till |
The end date till which the updated competency level is valid. For example, a valid end for a particular competency can be 15th July 2002. |
