Select the “View Shift” option from the left pane
The “Select Shift” page appears.
The system displays the following field

Select the organization unit under which you require to view the shift master details. |
Language |
The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. This refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity. From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to edit the shift. |
Select the shift master, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
Use this method if you know the complete code and name of the shift master
4 Enter the code of the shift master for which you require to view details, in the “Shift Code” field.
4 Select the “View Shift Details” hyperlink.
4 The “View Shift Details” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the shift master code or the shift master description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the shift master code or description contain. Optionally, you can enter the “Alias”, “Start Time” and “To Time” fields, to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Shift Code |
To view shift codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of the shift code. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, SH-1*, will search for those shift codes that start with Sh-1. Other examples are *SH and SH*1 |
Shift Description |
To view shift descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of the shift description. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Morn-Sh*, will search for those shift codes that start with Morn-Sh. Other examples are *Sh and Mo*Sh |
Alias |
To view all shift masters whose alias contains specific characters, enter these characters. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards |
Start Time |
To view all shift masters that start at a specific time, enter this time. |
End Time |
To view all shift masters that end at a specific time, enter this time. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the shift master records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Note: If the search criteria are entered in more than one field, the system will fetch only those records that satisfy the combination of the search criteria specified.

The short name / alias by which the shift is represented |

The time at which the shift starts. |

The time at which the shift ends |
If you do not enter the search criteria, and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will display all the shift master records pertaining to the organization group
To select the shift record to view, select the hyperlinked “Shift Code” field” in the multiline record.
