Selecting a session to edit

Select the “Edit Session” link from left pane.
The “Select Session to Edit” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date format |
The date format as applicable to the login user. Tell me more |
Enter the following.
Training General Information Unit |
Select the organization unit in which you want to edit the session for a training program. Tell me more |
Language |
From the drop-down list box, select the required language. By default the system displays the language as ”English”. |
To select through direct entry
Use this method if you know the complete code of the session.
Enter the code of the session that must be modified or deleted, in the “Session Code” field.
Select the “Edit Session” link.
The “Edit Session” page appears. You can edit the required details.
To select through search criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the session code or the session description.
Specify any of the following in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Session Code |
To view the session codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the session codes. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, S1*, will search for those session codes that start with s1. Other examples are *1, S*1 and S* |
Session Short Description |
To view all session short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the description. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, *Shdes, Shdes*l, and *DesSess*. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the session records that satisfy the search criteria specified in the “Search Results” multiline.
Session Code |
The unique code of the session. |
Session Short Description |
A brief description of the session. |
Inactive |
If the session is currently inactive, the system displays “Yes” otherwise “No” is displayed. |
Check in the “Select” checkbox beside the session you want to edit and click on the hyperlinked "Session Short Description".
The “Edit Session” page appears.
