How to use the web page

Using Online Help

Through this activity, you can specify parameter setup details for the specified statutory type for a statutory definition unit.   

The “Taiwan Statutory Parameters Setup” page appears.

The system displays the following

Taiwan Statutory Setup Unit

Taiwan statutory setup unit for which the parameter is to be set for different parameter type.

Statutory Group

Use the drop-down list box to select the statutory group to which the parameter values to be defined. The combo is loaded with the values “Select”, “Income Tax”, “Labour Insurance”, “National Health Insurance”, “Voluntary Pension Fund New” and “Welfare Fund”.

The system displays the following in the “Access History” group box:

Effective Period

From the drop-down list box, select the effective period for the selected stat type.

Statutory Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of statutory for which the parameter value is to be defined. The combo is loaded with the value based on statutory group.

Parameter Value Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of parameter value for which the parameter value is to be defined. The combo is loaded with the value based on statutory group.

Parameter Value

The value of the parameter. Both the parameter value and type is considered for the statutory element calculation.

Modification Option

Use the drop-down list box to specify the modification option. The combo is loaded with “Select”, “Correct” and “Update”. The system by default displays “Select” on launch of the page.

  • Correct: The modified details are saved with the current date.

  • Update: The modified details are updated with the new effective date.

New Effective From

The new effective date of updated records.

Remarks

Any remarks or additional information regarding the parameter setup of statutory details.

Note: Modification Option: While modifying the rate tables applicable to any fund, you can use one of the two available modification options viz., “Correct” and “Update”. If you choose the Correct option, the changes you make will come into effect in the existing record itself. If you choose the Update option, the system closes the existing version of the record and will create a new record containing the changes you make. You are to specify a new effective date which will become the effective date for the new record. 

The system saves the parameter setup details.
