Selecting an employee to record suggestion
Select the “Record Staff Suggestions” link from left pane.
The “Select Employee to Record Suggestions” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date format |
The date format as applicable to the login user. Tell me more |
Enter the following.
SSS Administration Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the organization unit in which you want to record the suggestions of an employee. Tell me more |
To select through direct entry
Use this method if you know the complete code of the employee.
Enter the code of the employee in the “Employee Code” field.
Select the “Record Suggestions” link.
The “Record Staff Suggestion” page appears. You can record the suggestions.
To select through search criteria
Use this method, if you do not know the employee code.
Specify any or all of the following in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Employment Unit |
To view the records of employees of employment units containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the employment unit. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Employee Code |
To view the employee codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the employee codes. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, E1*, will search for those employee codes that start with E1. Other examples are *1, E*1 and E*. |
Employee Name |
To view all employee names containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the name. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, *Lee, Lee*, and *Lee*. |
Department Short Description |
To view the records of employees belonging to departments with short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the description. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, *R, H*. |
Job Title |
To view the records of employees with job titles containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the job title. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Position Title |
To view the records of employees with position titles containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the position title. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Grade Set Short Description |
To view the records of employees belonging to grade sets with short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the grade set. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Grade Short Description |
To view the records of employees belonging to grade with short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the grade. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Show Employees with Draft Suggestions |
Select this checkbox, if you want to view the employees for whom at least one suggestion is in the “Draft” status. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the employee records that satisfy the search criteria specified in the “Search Results” multiline.
Employment Unit |
The name of the employment unit. |
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Department |
The department of the employee. |
Job Title |
The job title of the employee. |
Position Title |
The position title of the employee. |
Grade Set |
The grade set of the employee. |
Grade |
The grade of the employee. |
Select the hyperlink on the required employee name from the multiline.
The “Record Staff Suggestion” page appears. You can record the suggestions.
