In this activity you can record the details of the employer equity plans.
Recording the employer equity plan details
You can record the employer equity plan details. To record the equity plan details, you must carry out the following:
Select the employer organization unit
Enter the employer equity plan code and description
Specify the starting and ending range of date for the equity plan.
Specify the numerical goals to be achieved
Specify the target year for the plan
Indicate the stakeholder consulted in deciding upon the equity plan.
Indicate the level of agreement reached on the plan
Indicate the frequency period of the meeting for which the stakeholders are consulted. For example, the stakholders may be consulted on a quarterly, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to record the equity plan details
Deleting equity plan details which are not required.
You can delete the details of an equity plan that is no longer required. To delete the an existing equity plan you must carry out the following:
Enter the code of the employment equity plan that has to be deleted and select the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the details of the employment equity plan.
Select the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the equity plan.
Note: You can only delete the Equity Plan details of an Equity Plan, which has an “Open” plan status, and for which the actuals have not been recorded.

Employment equity plans are plans that help the employer to progressively achieve employment equity. It sets numerical goals to be achieved for equitable representation in occupational category and level in the workforce and the target year within which the goals must be achieved.
