Self Service by Employee: This activity allows an employee to enroll his or her dependents, for a specific reimbursement item. Dependents must be enrolled before their claims can be entered.. Self service is possible, provided the following conditions are met:
The employee is mapped already to a user name that has permission to the “Edit Dependant Enrolment“ activity. The employee is mapped to the user in the Employee Code Setup component.
The employee’s eligibility to the reimbursement item is already authorized in the “Authorize Employee Eligibility” activity. Otherwise, the reimbursement items do not appear in the “Edit Reimbursement Claim” page when the employee logs into the “Edit for Reimbursement” activity.
Maximum Number of Dependents: You are to ensure that the number
of dependents enrolled does not exceed the maximum number of dependents
specified for the reimbursement item. The maximum number of dependents
is already specified when the reimbursement item was defined through
the “Create Reimbursement Item” activity.
Family Members: All dependents must be defined already as family members, through the “Record Information on Family Members” activity. For each family member whom you indicate to be a dependent for this reimbursement item, you are to now specify the period for which the dependency is effective.
