New Request
Select the “New Request” link in the “Manage My Requests” page.
The “New Request” page appears.
Click “Head Count Analysis” hyperlink at the right hand side corner of the page to view the head count analysis graph.

Tab – Key Details
Enter the following details
Position Code and Title |
The position code and position description for which the RFH is raised. On enter, the system displays the title of the position required. |
Number Required |
The number of resources required. |
RFH For |
From the drop-down list box, select an option to specify whether the RFH is raised for "Addition" or "Replacement". |
Requested Date |
The date on which the request for hire has been submitted. My Preferences can be used to set up the default as system date or no default. |
Required By Date |
The date by which the resource is required. |
Job Location(s) |
From the drop-down list box, select the job location for which the resource is required. Ex: “Chennai”. If ‘Multiple/Others’ is selected, then click on the hyperlink to launch a popup to choose multiple work locations /other locations. Note that this link is visible only if the job location is selected as “Multiple/Others”. |
Enter the following details in “Breakup for No.Required” section
Number Required |
The number of resources required. |
Reason Required |
The reason for hiring a resource. |
Enter the following details in “Replacement For” section
Employee Code |
The code that identifies the replacing employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the replacing employee. |
Note: This section is visible only if the RFH For is selected as “Replacement”.
Select
“Number Required”, “Reason Required”, and click “+” icon. The system
displays the number required and resource required in the multiline.
Click icon
on any row to delete the record.
Select
“Replacement For Employee Code” if the RFH is towards “Replacement”
and click “+” icon. The system displays the number required, resource
required, employee code and employee name in the multiline. Click
icon on any row to delete
the record.
Click “Save” button to save the key RFH details.
Tab – Additional Details
Enter the following details
Hiring Department |
The department code and department description for which the RFH is raised. On enter, the system displays the name of the hiring department. |
Grade Set |
From the drop-down list box, select the grade set for which the RFH is raised. |
Grade |
From the drop-down list box, select the grade for which the RFH is raised. |
Resource Stream |
From the drop-down list box, select the resource stream for which the resource is required. Ex: “Functional”, “Human Resources”. |
Resource Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of resource is required. Ex: “Permanent” and “Temporary”. |
Work Nature |
From the drop-down list box, select the nature of work. Ex: “Flexi Time” and “Full Time”. |
Duration Required |
The duration required for the work. From the drop-down list box, select an option to specify whether the duration required in month, years or days. The system displays “Not Applicable”, “Months”, “Years” and “Days” as options. |
Enter the following details in “Job Details” section
Job Code |
The code and description of the job for which the hire request is made. On enter, the system displays the description of job. |
Click
button to browse
and select the required JD
(Job Description) document.
The system displays the attached document name. JD attachment is optional.
Enter the following details
Job Description |
The description of the job for which the hire request is made. |
Roles and Responsibilities |
The roles and responsibilities required for hiring employee. |
Click “Save” button to save the additional RFH details.
Tab – Hiring Specifications
Enter the following details
Total Experience Range (in years) |
The number of years of total experience required for the position to be filled. Enter the range of total experience required in this field. |
Relevant Experience Range (in years) |
The number of years of relevant experience required for the position to be filled. Enter the range of experience in this field. |
Age Range (in years) |
The age of the employee required for the position. Enter the range of age in this field. |
Gender |
From the drop-down list box, select in case of any gender preference for the position. The system displays “No Preference”, “Male” and “Female” as options. |
Travel (%) |
The percentage of travel required for the position. |
Annual Salary |
The annual salary offered for the position. Enter the range of salary in this field. |
Enter the following details in “Qualification Details” section
Specification Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the specification type of qualification required for the position. The system lists “Must Have” and “Desirable” as options. |
Qualification |
From the drop-down list box, select the qualification for hiring employee. Ex: “10th”. |
Qualification (If Others) |
Enter the qualification if other than the listed qualifications. |
Operator |
From the drop-down list box, select the relational operator. The system displays “AND” and “OR” as options. |
Select
“Specification Type”, “Qualification”, “Operator” and click “+” icon.
The system displays the specification, qualification and operator
in the multiline. Click icon on any
row to delete the selected record.
Click “Save” button to save the hiring details.
Tab – Project Details
Enter the following details
Project Name |
The name of the project for which the employee is to be hired. |
Project Department |
The department of the project for which the employee is to be hired. |
Deployment At |
From the drop-down list box, select the place where the project is deployed. |
Billing Nature |
From the drop-down list box, select the billing nature of the project. The system displays “Billable” and “Non Billable” as options. |
Budget / Cost Approval |
From the drop-down list box, select an option to specify whether the budget or cost approval is done for the project. The system displays “Yes”, “No”, “Approval Pending” and “Not Applicable” as options. |
Project Nature |
The description of the project nature. |
Click “Save” button to save the project details.
Tab – Competency Details
Enter the following details in the multiline
Competency Description |
The description of the competency. |
Min. Desired Proficiency Level |
The minimum extent to which an employee selected for the specified position or job should be proficient on the competency. The maximum level is set in the system parameters at the time of installation. Defaulted from position or job related competencies if competency framework is defined. |
Weightage (%) |
The weightage of competency in percentage terms. Defaulted from position or job related competencies if competency framework is defined. |
MDPL for RFH |
The minimum desired proficiency level of the competency required for RFH. |
Weightage for RFH (%) |
The weightage of the competency required for the RFH being raised (in percentage terms) . |
Remarks |
Any remarks or comments regarding the competency. |
Click “Save” button to save the competency details.
Click “Submit” button to submit the RFH if all the validations are successful.
