Selecting employee payment method with direct deposit
Select "Set Payment Method with Direct Deposit" from the left pane.
The "Select Employee Payment Method” page appears.
The system displays the following fields.

From the “Employee Payroll Data Unit” drop-down list box, select the employee for which the employee payment method is to be set.
A concatenated list of payrolls–payset will get listed in the “Payroll – Payset” drop- down list box. From the drop-down list box select the desired payset-payroll to which the employee is mapped and whose payment method is to be specified.
To specify the search criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the employee code or the employee name. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records. You can also specify the grade, assignment number,department to which the employee(s) belong, or the probable period during which they have joined the organization to narrow the search.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that employee code or name contains. You can also enter one or more characters in the grade, assignment number fields. You can also specify the probable joining dates.
Enter the following search criteria values, in one or both of the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Employee Code |
To view all employee codes containing specific characters, enter one or more characters of the employee code. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Example: A12* will search for those employee codes that begin with A12. Other examples are *A12, A*2, and A*2*. | |
Employee Name |
To view all employee names containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names. |
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: Michael*, will search for those employee names that start with Michael, examples, Michael Anderson, Michael Smith and Michael Rhodes. | |
Assignment No. |
To view the employee with a specific assignment number, enter the assignment number. |
Department Description |
To view all employees in a particular department, enter the department name. |
Date of Joining From |
To view all employees who joined the organization after a specific date, enter this date. For example, if you specify the date to be 050701, the system will fetch the records of all employees who have joined on or after this specified date. |
Date of Joining To |
To view all employees who joined the organization before a specific date, enter this date. For example, if you specify the date to be 110801, the system will fetch the records of all employees who have joined on or before the specified date. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton to view the records of all employees satisfying the search criteria.
Note: If only one
search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that
satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected Employee payroll data unit.
The following are the fields are displayed in the “Employee Details” multiline.
Employee Code |
The code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Assign. |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Department |
The department name to which the employee belongs. |
Date Of Joining |
The date on which the employee joined the organization. |
Select an employee in the multiline by checking in the “Select” column beside the record.
Select the “Set Payment Method with Direct Deposit” at the bottom of the page or the hyperlinked employee name in the multiline.
