Selecting a payset for employee mapping

Select "Map Payset – Employee " page from the left pane.
The "Select Payset for Employee Mapping" page appears.
The system displays the following field.
Date Format |
The date format as applicable to the login user. Tell me more |
Enter / Select the following fields.
Employee Payroll Data Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the employee payroll data unit for which the payset is to be selected. By default the system will display with a blank value. |
If there is only one value, the drop-down list box displays this single value. | |
Payroll |
Select a payroll from the drop-down list box. The drop-down list box contains list of all payroll mapped to the selected employee payroll data unit. |
As you select a payroll, all the paysets mapped to the selected payroll will get displayed in the multiline. The following details are displayed in the multiline.
Org. Unit |
The org. unit to which the payset is mapped. |
Payset Code |
The code that identifies the payset. |
Payset Description |
The description of the payset code. |
Select a payset to which employee/s are to be mapped by checking the “Select” column besides the record.
Select “Payset- Employee Mapping” hyperlink at the bottom of the page.
Or
Select the “Payset Code” for which employee mapping is to be performed.
The “Map Employees To Payset” page appears.

Use this page to map employees to the selected payset.
In this page, you can map one or more employees to a payset. You can also modify or delete the existing mapping. To map an employee you select an employee code and his assignment number that must be mapped to the selected payset. You can specify whether the payset must be mapped to the primary payroll or non- primary. Primary payroll is the one that computes the regular salary of an employee. You must specify the process period from which the mapping is effective. You can also specify whether the mapping is effective to the processed process periods or not
