Selecting employee payment method for viewing

Select "View Employee Payment Method " from the left pane.
The " Select Employee Payment Method to View” page appears.
The system displays the following fields.

From the “Employee Payroll Data Unit” drop-down list box, select the employee payroll data unit to which the employee is mapped.
A concatenated list of payrolls–payset in the “Payroll – Payset” drop down list box. Select the desired payset-payroll from the “Payset – Payroll” drop-down list box.
In the search criteria box, enter the following.
To specify the search criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the employee code or the employee name. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records. You can also specify the grade to which the employee(s) belong, or the probable period during which they have joined the organization to narrow the search.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that employee code or name contains.
Enter the following search criteria values, in one or both of the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Employee Code |
To view all employee codes containing specific characters, enter one or more characters of the employee code. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Example: A12* will search for those employee codes that begin with A12. Other examples are *A12, A*2, and A*2*. | |
Employee Name |
To view all employee names containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names |
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: Michael*, will search for those employee names that start with Michael, examples, Michael Anderson, Michael Smith and Michael Rhodes. | |
Grade |
To view all employees belonging to a specific grade, type in the starting character or characters of the grade. Example: An organization may have employees under the grades G1, G2, E1 and E2. If you enter G1, the system will display all the employees belonging to the grade G1. If you enter G*, the system will display all the employees belonging to all the grades that begin with ‘G’, such as G1 and G2. |
Date of Joining From |
To view all employees who joined the organization after a specific date, enter this date. For example, if you specify the date to be 050701, the system will fetch the records of all employees who have joined on or after this specified date. |
Date of Joining To |
To view all employees who joined the organization before a specific date, enter this date. For example, if you specify the date to be 110801, the system will fetch the records of all employees who have joined on or before the specified date. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton to view the records of all employees satisfying the search criteria.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system
will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected Employee payroll data unit.
The following are the fields are displayed in the multiline.
Org. Unit |
The organization unit to which the employee belongs. |
Employee Code |
The code of the employee |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee code. |
Assignment No. |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Grade Code |
The code of the grade to which the employee belongs. |
Date of Joining |
The date on which the employee joined the organization. |
Status |
The current status of the record. |
Select the employee by checking in the “Select” column beside the record.
To view employee payment methods select the “View Employee Payment Method” to view the payment methods of the employee.
To view payment methods for a nominee(s) of the employee if salary amount is specified select the “View Salary Amount” hyperlink.
To view payment methods for a nominee(s) of the employee if salary percentage is specified select the “View Salary Percentage” hyperlink.

An Employee Payroll Data unit
A Payroll- Payset to which the employee is mapped.
You can specify any or all of the following search criteria based upon which the system will filter all the employee records that satisfy the search criteria. You can specify:
The entire or partial range of characters of employee code.
The entire or partial range of characters of employee name.
The entire or partial range of characters of grade
The entire or partial range of characters from which the employee has joined
The entire or partial range of characters the date before which the employee has joined.
For example if you enter employee code as IT001, the system will display all the records starting with IT001. The system also supports wild card search activity. Wild card activity will enable search faster and easier. It also helps in narrowing down the search activity. For example, you can give any of the following *IT001, IT*001, IT001* IT*001*.
If you search as *IT001, the system will display all the records which end with the code IT001.
If you search IT*001, the system will display the records, which start with letters IT and end with numerals 001.
If IT001* is entered, the system will display all the records which start with IT001.
If IT*001* is entered the system will display all the records starting with alphabets IT and numerals with 001.
After specifying the search parameters “Search” pushbutton should be selected. The system will display all the records that satisfy the search criteria in the multiline. Select the employee record to which payment method is to be viewed.
If no parameters are entered, and the “Search” pushbutton is selected, then the system will display all the employee records that have been mapped to the selected payroll-payset.
