Mapping of organization units

Select the "Org. Unit Mapping" link from the bottom of the page.
The “Org. Unit(s) mapping” page appears.
The system displays the following fields.

Employee Payroll Data Unit |
The employee payroll data unit selected in the previous page. |
|
Code |
The unique code of the bank |
|
Description |
The unique description identifying a bank. |
You must have selected “Selective Org. Units” option in the “Applicable to Org. Units” field in the previous page and saved the details.
To search for organization units
Enter the following search criteria values, in one or both of the following fields.

Org. Unit Code |
To view the organization units containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the organization units. |
|

Alternatively, typ in thse characters, in any combination with wild cards. Example, E1*, will search for those organization units that start with E1. Other examples are *E1, E*1,and E1*. |

Org. Unit Description |
To view all organization uni descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the organization unit description. |
|
|
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, S* will search for those organization unit descriptions that start with S. Other examples are *s,S*n and *s * |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
The system displays the following fields, for the records that satisfy your search criteria.

Org. Unit Code |
The code of the org. Unit. |

Org. Unit Description |
The description that identifies the org. unit. |
To indicate that the Organizational Unit must be mapped to the Pay element, select “Yes” from the “Map” drop-down list box in the multiline row containing the Organizational Unit. To Unmap a Period Unit, select “No” from the “Map” drop-down list box in the multiline row containing the Organizational Unit.
After you complete the mapping details, select the “Save” pushbutton to save the organizational unit mapping.
