Viewing a period unit
Select “View Period Unit” from left pane.
The “View Period Unit” page appears.
The system displays the following fields.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. Tell me more |
From the “Payroll General Info. Unit” combo box values select the payroll general information unit for which the details of the period units are to be viewed.
From the “Language” drop-down list box select the language in which the details of the period units are to be viewed.
The following details of the period unit are displayed.
Period Unit Code |
The unique code that identifies the period unit. |
Period Unit Description |
The description of the period unit. |
Conversion Factor |
The equivalent conversion factor of the period unit with relation to the base period unit. For example if the base period is Hour and the period unit is Day, the conversion factor is 8 (hours). |
Base Period Unit |
The base period unit displayed by the system, example, “Hour”. |
Status |
The status of the period unit viz. “Active” or “Deleted” |
To view the period unit details in another language
Ensure that you are in the “View Period Unit” page, and the period unit details are displayed
Choose the required language from the ”Language” drop-down list box.
The system displays the details of all the period units available in the database.
The fields in the page are displayed in the language you had selected in the “Language” drop-down list box.
Note: If you are accessing the record in the selected language for the first time, the record is displayed in the language in which it has been created.
Select the Book icon beside the “Comments” field. The system displays a dialog box containing the comments that were entered previously, if any.
You can view the content.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page.
