Select the organization unit in which you must create an attendance type. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have permission to view attendance types. Tell me more

Language

The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. In other words, this refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity.

 

From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to edit the attendance type record.

To select through Search Criteria

Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the attendance code or the attendance description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.

To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the attendance code or description contain. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.

Attendance Code

To view the attendance codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the attendance codes.

 

Alternatively type in these codes in any combination with wild cards.

 

For example if you enter the characters DA, the system displays all the attendance type records whose attendance codes start with DA.  If the wild card activity is applied, all the attendance type codes containing the characters “DA” will be displayed. Other examples are *ATT1, ATT1* and ATT*1

Attendance Description

To view attendance type records whose descriptions contain specific characters, type in the starting letter/s of these characters or in any combination with wild cards.

 

For example if “DA” is searched for, the system displays all the attendance type records whose descriptions start with or contain the letters “DA”.

Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected Payroll general info. Unit.

Attendance Code

The attendance code of the attendance type record selected in the previous page

Description

The description of the attendance type Entry Mode The mode of attendance entry of the selected attendance type record selected. One among the following values are displayed. “Direct Entry”, "Formula based” and “ARS”

Status
