Mapping an attendance booth to a cost center

Select "Map Attendance Booth- Cost Center" from the left pane.
The "Map Attendance Booth- Cost Center" page appears.
The system displays the following field.

Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. Tell me more |
From the “Employment Unit” drop-down list box, select the employment unit for which mapping must be made or viewed. The drop-down list box contains all the interacting employment units where you have permissions to map cost centers to attendance booths. Tell me more
The system will display the mapping details of the booth numbers with the cost center codes in the selected employment unit.
If you are accessing this page for the first time to enter mapping details for the selected organization unit, the fields will be blank.
If the booth-cost center mapping details for the selected organization unit have been entered earlier, the system displays all the cost centers and the booth number to which they are currently mapped.
Enter the following details, or edit them if they are already displayed.

Booth No |
The ID of the swipe-in/swipe-out unit of the Attendance Recording System that must be mapped to a cost center. |

Ensure that the booth number you enter is in the identical format in which the ARS records it. | |

Cost Center Code |
The code of the cost center to which the booth no, must be mapped. |
|
You can select the cost center code with the Help, provided you are mapping for the first time. Otherwise, the system will display only the cost center code you entered previously. |
The system displays the following field after validating the cost center.

Cost Center Description |
The description of the cost center code. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline, for each cost center-booth mapping.

From Date |
The start date from which the mapping of booth number to the cost center comes into effect. |
|
To date |
The date until which the mapping of the booth to the cost center is effective. |
|
Status |
Select “Yes” to indicate that the mapping of the cost center to the booth is effective. Select “No” to indicate that the mapping of the cost center is not in effect. |
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
To unmap a booth from a cost center
Enter the following field in the multiline, for each booth-cost center mapping that you want to unmap.

To date |
The date until which the mapping of the booth to the cost center must be effective. |
Or set “NO” in the corresponding “Status” drop-down list box of the multiline.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
