Attendance Code

The code of the attendance type record you selected in the previous page.

Period Unit Description

The description of the period unit attached to the selected attendance type record. You cannot change this field.

Language

By default, the login language of the record is displayed.

 

From the “Language” drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to retrieve the record in the selected language.

To edit an attendance type

Attendance Description

The description of the selected attendance type record.

Attendance Entry Mode

The mode of attendance entry of the selected attendance type record.  By default the system will display the one specified earlier. From the drop-down list box select one among the following viz. “Direct Entry”, “Formula Based” and "ARS".

Effective From

The date from which the attendance record has come into effect.

Effective To

The date until which the changes of the record will be effective.

Rule

The name of the rule, if the attendance entry mode of the selected record is Formula Based or ARS.

To view modification history

Effective From

The date from which the corresponding version of the record was in effect.

Effective To

 The date till which the corresponding version of the record was in effect.

To specify the modification option

To edit the record without changing the effective dates

To edit the record and change the effective dates

Note: If the modification option selected is “Update”, you are to specify a new effective date from which a new version will be created in which the changes made will be updated.

To specify the new effective from date

Applicable to

Specify the applicability to organizational units. This could be “All Org. Units”, “Login Org. Units” or “Selective Org. Units”.

 

You can modify the organizational units to which the attendance type record will be made available. If the applicability is changed to “Selective Org. Unit”, the actual mapping must be done in the “Map Org. Units” page.

Save in Language

By default the record is saved in the language selected in the beginning.

 

Select the language in which you wish to save the modifications, from the drop-down list box.
