The “Maintain Minimum Wages and Overtime Details” page appears.

The system displays the following

Organization Unit

From the drop-down list, select the required organization unit. The combo is loaded with the self interacting OU for the payroll additional information component.

Date Format

The date format as applicable to the login user.

Master For

From the drop-down list box, select the states for which the wages and overtime details are to be defined. The combo is loaded with a list of states from States Master and Federal defined in “Quick Codes” business component. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page.

The system displays the following

Effective From

The effective start date from which the details to be retrieved.

Effective To

The effective end date until which the details to be retrieved.

Federal /state

From the drop-down list box, select the federal or state for which the wages and overtime details are to be defined. The combo is loaded with all the states defined for the country – USA along with “Federal”  available in the system defined “Quick Codes” business component. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page.

Employee Type

From the drop-down list box, select the type of employee for which the wages are to be defined. The combo is loaded with the value as defined in the “Create / Edit Employee File” activity.

FLSA Status

From the drop-down list box, select the status of FLSA for which the wages are to be defined. The combo is loaded with the values “Exempt” or “Non-Exempt”.

Tipped

From the drop-down list box, specify whether the employee is a tipped employee or not. The combo is loaded with the values “Yes” or “No” as defined in “Benefits Administration” business component.

Minimum wages per hour

The minimum wages entered per hour for the employee.

Overtime Basis

From the drop-down list box, select the overtime basis of the employee. The combo is loaded with the values “Select”, “Both” and “Weekly”.

Maximum regular rate workhours per day

The maximum regular work hour to be worked by the employee for a day.This is mandatory when the Overtime Basis is ‘Both’.

Maximum 1.5 times workhour per day

The maximum work hours for the overtime type 1.5 to be worked by the employee more than the standard regular working hours for a day. Ensure that the entered value is greater than zero.

Maximum regular workhours per week

The maximum regular work hours to be worked by the employee for a week. This field is mandatory when the OT basis is selected as “Week” or “Both”.

Maximum 1.5 times workhour per week

The maximum work hours for the overtime type 1.5 to be worked by the employee more than the standard regular working hours for a week.

Special Treatment for

From the drop-down list box, select the special day worked by the employee other than working day (example: holiday and public holiday). The combo is loaded with the quick code values as defined in “Payroll Additional Information” business component.

Treatment

From the drop-down list box, specify the type of overtime pay. The combo is loaded with the quick code values as defined in “Payroll Additional Information” business component.

Modification Option

Use the drop-down list box to specify the modification option. The combo is loaded with “Select”, “Correct” and “Update”. The system by default displays “Select” on launch of the page.

§  Correct: The modified details are saved with the current date.

§  Update: The modified details are updated with the new effective date.

New Effective From

The new effective date of updated records.

The system saves the wages and overtime details of the employee.
