How to use the web page

Using online help

This help page allows you to search and select a rating pattern based on the objective group and type for transferring the details to the field where it is required. The system retrieves the values based on the details entered. The selected objective rating details will be transferred to the required page when you click the “OK” pushbutton.

The “Help on Objective Rating / Rate Grade” page appears.

The system displays the following in the header:

Appraisal Setup Unit

The setup unit of the appraisal.

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Appraisal Type

The appraisal type of the employee. It can be one of the following:

  • Annual Appraisal

  • Confirmation Appraisal

  • Contract End Appraisal

  • Any other user-defined through quick codes

Appraisal Calendar Code

The code of the appraisal calendar in which the appraisal falls.

Calendar Short Description

A short description of the appraisal calendar.

Period From

The date from which appraise calendar is effective.

Period To

The date until which the appraise calendar is effective.

Parameter Category

The parameter category defined at the employee level.

Objective Group

From the drop down list, select the objective group by which you wish to retrieve the details. The drop-down list box loaded with the objective group values defined in the Quick code with “All”.

Objective Type

From the drop down list, select the objective type by which you wish to retrieve the details. The drop-down list box loaded with the objective type values defined in the Quick code with “All".

Rating Pattern

From the drop down list, select the rating pattern by which you wish to retrieve the details. The drop-down list box loaded with the values of rating patterns defined in the Quick code with “All".

Rating From

The starting rating range of the selected rating pattern for the selected objective group and objective type set for the parameter category mapped to the calendar code.

Rating To

The ending rating range of the selected rating pattern for the selected objective group and objective type set for the parameter category mapped to the calendar code.

Achievement % / Units From

The starting percentage / units of achievements of the employee from which you wish to retrieve the rating / grade details mapped against.

Achievement % / Units To

The ending percentage / units of achievements of the employee until which you wish to retrieve the rating / grade details mapped against.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Objective Group

The objective group mapped to the calendar for the parameter category

Objective Type

The objective type mapped to a group set for a calendar and for a parameter category.

Rating Pattern

The objective type rating pattern defined for the selected objective group and objective type for the objective parameter and for the calendar.

Rating From

The starting objective rating range defined for the selected objective group and objective type for the objective parameter and for the calendar.

Rating To

The ending objective rating range defined for the selected objective group and objective type for the objective parameter and for the calendar.

Achievement % / Units From

The starting percentage / units of achievement.

Achievement % / Units To

The ending percentage / units of achievement.
