Appraisal and Employee Setup Replication
Select the “Appraisal and Employee Setup Replication” activity under the “Performance Management Administration” business component.
The “Appraisal and Employee Setup Replication” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.
Enter the following fields:
Appraisal Administration Unit |
The drop-down list box displays the set of organization units in which the Appraisal Administration component is deployed. From the “Appraisal Administration Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit where appraisal calendar has been defined. |
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Select the following field from the “Source Calendar Details” group box:
Source Calendar Code |
From the drop-down list box, select the appraisal calendar description. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Source Calendar Details” group box:
Calendar Short Description |
A short description of the appraisal calendar. |
Appraisal Type |
The type of appraisal performed for the appraisee. |
From Date |
The start date of the selected appraisal calendar. |
To Date |
The end date of the selected appraisal calendar. |
Select the following field from the “Target Calendar Details” group box:
Target Calendar Code |
From the drop-down list box, select the appraisal calendar description. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Target Calendar Details” group box:
Calendar Short Description |
A short description of the appraisal calendar. |
Appraisal Type |
The type of appraisal performed for the appraisee. |
From Date |
The start date of the selected appraisal calendar. |
To Date |
The end date of the selected appraisal calendar. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton.
Note: You must select both the source and target calendar code before clicking get details button; else, the system throws an error message.
The system displays the following field:
Status |
The status of the replication process as “Simulation Completed" or “Confirmed”. |
Tab: Replication Details
The system retrieves and displays the following details in the multiline:
Sequence |
The sequence number of the replication item. |
Replication Item |
The items to be replicated for the selected calendar code. The system lists the replication items. |
Note: The replicated items must be selected in a sequential order. If this is chosen in a random manner system throws error message accordingly.

Tab: Error Log Details
The system retrieves and displays the following details in the multiline:
Error Type |
The type of error during replication. |
Error ID |
The code identifying the error message. |
Enter the following field in the multiline:
Error Description |
The description of the error. |
Note: You must select atleast one replication item for simulation.
Click the “Simulate” pushbutton to process the replication.
If the simulation process is completed with or without errors, then the system updates the status as "Simulation Completed".
Click the “Confirm” pushbutton to confirm the replication process.
The system saves and changes the status to “Confirmed”. Once confirmed, the process cannot be repeated.
