Mapping multiple appraisers to the employee
Ensure that you have selected the employee, in the “Select Employee to Record Appraiser Mapping” page
Select the “Record Appraiser Mapping” hyperlink.
The “Record Appraiser Mapping” page appears.
The system displays the following fields
Appraisal Admin Unit |
The Appraisal Admin Unit is displayed from the previous page. |
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit of the selected employee. |
Employee |
The employee code of the employee who was selected in the “Select Employee to Record Appraisal Objectives” page. |
Assignment No. |
The number of the employee’s assignment, for which he is reporting to the appraiser. |
Employment Type |
The employee type of the selected employee. |
Joining Date |
The date on which the employee joined the organization |
Confirmation Date |
The date on which the employee was confirmed in the organization. |
Appraisal Type |
The type of appraisal for which the appraiser mapping is applicable. It could be one of the following:

Appraisal Calendar Code |
The code of the appraisal calendar in which the employee’s appraisal falls. |
Calendar Short description |
A short description of the appraisal calendar. |
Appraiser |
The employee code of the appraiser, in combination with whom the employee’s objectives will be recorded |

To map appraisers to the employee
The “Appraiser Mapping” multiline displays the employee code of the appraiser you had selected in the previous page using the “Set as Supervisor” pushbutton.
The multiline will also display the employee code of the employee, if the employee is eligible for self-appraisal. An employee is eligible if he or she is included in the groups of employees identified for self-appraisal in the “Set Self Appraisal Parameters” activity.
Enter the following in the “Appraiser Mapping” multiline
Appraiser Code |
The employee code of each appraiser to be mapped to the employee. Help available |
Note: If the employee is eligible for self-appraisal, and the “Include in Overall Rating” box in the “Set Self Appraisal Parameters” activity is unchecked, the employee’s weightage will be 0.Otherwise, you can enter the employee’s weightage. The employee’s self-appraisal ratings will be taken into account, when the system calculates his or her consolidated rating after completion of appraisal
If the “Appraiser Code” was selected using Help, the system displays the following

Period From |
The date from which the changed appraiser will be mapped to the employee. |
Period To |
The date until which the changed appraiser will be mapped to the employee. |
Weightage in % |
The weightage assigned to the objective group, objective type, objective group-type and objective, in percentage. If the weightage computation level is set as ”Objective Group”, then the objective (within a group) is calculated as shown below: Objective Y1 weightage % = ((Objective Y1 Weightage / sum(Objective Y1 Weightage + ObjectiveY2 Weightage....))*Objective Group G1 Weightage % If the weightage computation level is set as “Objective Type” then the objective (all objectives within type) is calculated as shown below: Objective Q1 weightage % = ((Objective Q1 Weightage/sum(ObjectiveQ1 Weightage+ObjectiveQ2 Weightage....))*ObjectiveType T1 Weightage % If the weightage computation is set as “Objective Group-Type” then the objective (all objectives within a Type) is calculated as shown below: Objective Q1 weightage % = ((Objective Q1 Weightage /sum(ObjectiveQ1 Weightage+ObjectiveQ2 Weightage....))*ObjectiveType T1 Weightage % If the weightage computation level is set as “Objective”, then the objective (all objectives) is calculated as shown below: Objective Q1 weightage % = ((Objective Q1 weightage/sum(ObjectiveQ1 weightage +ObjectiveQ2 weightage....)) * 100 |

The status of mapping of the employee to the appraiser. Given below is a description of each status:

Note: Each time you change the weightage, select the “Compute Objective Weightage in %” pushbutton to recompute the weightage of the appraiser’s evaluation with respect to the other appraisers in the multiline.
To define objectives for an appraiser
In the multiline, check the “Select” box containing the appraiser for whom objectives are to be defined.
Select the “Set/Edit Objectives” link.
The “Record appraisal Objectives” page appears. Refer to Recording Appraisal Objectives
To save employee appraiser mapping
Select the “Save” pushbutton.
The system saves the mapping of appraiser details.
