Employee Code Setup Unit

The organization unit in which employee code parameters are defined for the login organization unit.

Date Format

The date that is applicable to the login user. More Details.

Employee

The name and unique code of the employee. The system displays the value selected in the “Select Employee” page.

Employee Type

The type of the employee’s job. The employee type indicates if the selected employee is a regular employee or has been hired on contract for a limited period or is a consultant etc.

 

Viewing Effective Dates  

You can use the “Access Data History” group box to view the effective dates of the previous versions of the qualification information record.

Effective From

The date from which the corresponding version of the qualification information record is effective.

Effective To

The date till which the corresponding version of the qualification information record is effective.

           

Viewing qualification information  

You can use the “Qualification Details” multiline in the page to view the qualification details of the employee.

Qualification Code

The unique code of the qualification.

Qualification Description

The description of the qualification, for example, MBBS, MBA etc., applicable to the selected qualification code.

Qualification Level

The corresponding academic level of the qualification viz., graduation, postgraduation etc., applicable to the selected achievement code.

Specialization

The specific area of study. For example, if the qualification specified is engineering, indicates the specific area viz., Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc., to which the qualification pertains to.

Qualification Type

The type of the qualification, for example, License, Certification, Degree etc., applicable to the selected qualification code. Qualification type indicates if the qualification pertains to a license, certification or degree etc.

Institution

The specific name of the institution, for example, Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology etc., which awarded qualification. 

Major

The name of the subjects which the employee selected as his/her Majors, for example, Marketing, Finance, etc.

Minor

The name of the subjects which the employee selected as his/her Minors, for example, Mathematics, Physics etc.

Month of Passing

The month in which the employee completed his/her study.

Year of passing

The year in which the employee completed his/her study.

Duration

The period of time in which the employee acquired the qualification. For example if the duration is four years, the system displays “4” in this field and the qualifying unit that is, “Years” in the column beside.

Unit

The qualifying unit of the duration specified, for example, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months and Years etc.

Nature

The nature of study, for example, part-time, full-time, distance education etc.

GPA/Percentage

The Grade Point Average or the percentage of marks obtained by the employee.

Maximum

The maximum marks against which the GPA or percentage of marks obtained by the employee are calculated.

Sponsored

Indicates if the qualification is sponsored or otherwise. Select “Yes” or “No” from the drop-down list box to specify. “Yes” indicates that the Achievement was Sponsored, “No” indicates otherwise.

Rank

The rank obtained by the employee, for example, first rank, second rank etc.

Class

The class obtained by the employee, for example, first class, second division, distinction etc.

From

The date from which the qualification will be valid. For example, if the qualification pertains to a license or certification, it will be valid for a particular period of time only. In such an instance, you can view the specified date from which the qualification will be valid.

To

The date till which the qualification will be valid.

Highest Qualification

Indicates "Yes" if the qualification is the highest qualification of the employee. Otherwise indicates "No".

Relative Importance

The importance assigned to the qualification, with reference to the other qualifications available for the selected employee. For example, a qualification with a relative importance of 03 has more importance than one with 05.
