Enter the complete code of the employee in the “Employee Code” field.
Select the “Record Information On Employee Hobbies” hyperlink beside the employee code field.
The system displays the “Record Information Employee Hobbies” page.
Use the search facility to fetch the required record in the multiline.
Select the hyperlink on the name of the required employee.
The system displays the “Record Information On Employee Hobbies” page.
The system displays the following details.
Employee Code Setup Unit

The organization unit in which employee code parameters are defined for the login organization unit. |
Date Format |
The date that is applicable to the login user. More Details. |
Employee |
The name and unique code of the employee. The system displays the value selected in the “Select Employee” page. |
Employee Type |
The type of the employee’s job. The employee type indicates whether the selected employee is a regular employee or has been hired on contract for a limited period or is a consultant. |
You can use the multiline in the page to record the details pertaining to the employee’s hobbies.
Enter the following details of hobby information in the multiline.
Note: By default, for a new hobby information record, the fields and drop-down list boxes will be blank. For an existing record, the system displays the values specified previously.
Hobby Type |
The type of the employee’s hobby. The system lists the values such as., Literary, Cultural and Sports in the drop down list box. Select the required hobby type to indicate if the employee’s hobby pertains to a literary, cultural or sports activity. For example, if the employee’s hobby is writing poetry, you must specify the hobby type as “Literary”. |
Hobby Name |
The name of the hobby pursued by the employee. For example, if playing snooker is the hobby of the employee, specify the hobby name as “Playing Snooker”. |
Category |
The competency level of the employee in the hobby specified. The system lists the values such as., Amateur, Professional, Expert. Select the required option from the drop-down list box to specify. For example, if the employee’s skills in the hobby specified are inexperienced and nominal, you can specify the hobby type as “Amateur”. |
Level of Representation |
The level represented by the employee in the hobby specified. The system lists the values such as., University, League, State, National and International, in the drop-down list box. Level of representation indicates whether the employee has participated at the University level, League level, State level, National or International level. Select the required option from the drop-down list box to specify. |
Achievements |
The achievements of the employee in the hobby specified. For example, if the hobby specified for the employee is Snooker and if the employee has won the “Snooker Champion of the Year” award, you can specify the achievement in this field. |
Currently Pursuing |
Specify if the employee is currently pursuing the hobby specified or otherwise. Select “Yes” or “No” from the drop down list box to specify. “Yes” indicates that the employee is pursuing the hobby currently, “No” indicates otherwise. |
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
Use this page to record information on the hobbies of the employee selected in the “Select Employee” page.
