Viewing and Editing the Details: Before giving authorization, you can view and if necessary, edit the values specified for the employee details. The unique employee code recorded in the employee file makes the record exclusive to the employee having the specified code and hence cannot be edited.
You can view and edit the following details before giving authorization:
The employee type, which indicates whether the employee is a regular or contract employee etc.
The name of the company to which the employee belongs.
The complete name of the employee and the name by which he/she is known as.
The date and time on which the employee joined.
The reference number of the employee’s application.
The comments entered previously with regard to the details.
Authorizing the Record: After viewing the details and making the necessary changes, you can authorize the record. The system updates the record with the values present at the time of authorization.
Deleting Employee File: If the record has been submitted with a request for deletion, on authorization of the record, the system deletes the record from the database.
Status: The authorization status of the record indicates if the record has been authorized, is yet to be authorized or has been rejected.
Also, you can edit the existing comments or enter new ones with regard to the changes made or the authorization or rejection of the record.
