Enter the following fields
Organization Structure Unit |
The organization unit in which the organization structure component is deployed, |
Grade Set |
The grade set to which the grade should be attached. Employees in the organization are classified into different grade sets. For example, all managers can be attached to the grade set ‘Managers’. From the dropdown list box, select the grade set to which the grade you want to view is attached. |
Language |
The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. In other words, this refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity. |

From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to view the record. |
Select the grade record, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
Use this method if you know the complete code of the required grade.
Enter the complete code of the required grade in the “Grade Code” field.
Select the “View Grade” hyperlink beside.
The “View Grade” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
To view grade, refer to the topic “Viewing a Grade”.
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the grade code. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the grade code contains. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. To narrow your search to the closest matching records, you can also enter search criteria for the short description of the grade.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Grade Code |
To view all grade codes containing specific characters, type in a starting range of these characters along with the wild card character *. For example, if you type in G*, the system will display all the grade codes of the G series. |
Grade Short Description |
To view all grade descriptions containing specific characters, type in a range of these characters along with the wild card characters. Examples: *grade, grade*, new*grade. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are available for the selected organization structure unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the grade records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Grade Code |
The unique code of the grade. |
Grade Short Description |
The short description of the grade. |
Inactive |
The active or inactive status of the grade. “Active” indicates that the grade is available for use in other activities, “Inactive” indicates otherwise. |
Select the hyperlink on the required grade in the multiline. The system displays the “View Grade” page, which you can use to view the details.
