Create Tax Year

This activity allows you to create the tax year. You can specify the short and detailed description of the tax year. You can also inactivate the tax year.

Select the “Create Tax Year” from the left pane.

The “Create Tax Year” page appears.

The system displays the following

Malaysian Statutory Setup Unit	Malaysian statutory setup unit applicable to the employee.
Date Format	The date format as applicable to the login user.

Enter the following details in the header:

Tax Year Code	The code identifying the tax year.
Tax Year Short Description	The short description of the tax year.
Tax Year Long Description	The detailed description of the tax year.
Inactive	Check this box to inactivate the tax year.
From Date	The effective start date of the tax year.
To Date	The end date of the tax year.

Click the “Save” pushbutton.

The system saves the tax details.
