Maintain Employee Element Exceptions
This activity allows you to record exception values for statutory elements which may be defined as an amount or percentage. It also allows you to capture the parameters needed for tax computation as exception values in the absence of the required data.
Select the “Maintain Employee Element Exceptions” from the left pane.
The “Maintain Employee Element Exceptions” page appears.
Enter the following details in the header:
Malaysian Statutory Admin Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the Malaysian statutory admin unit to which an employee belongs. |
Employee Code |
The identification code of an employee. Help facility available. |
Payroll |
Use the drop-down list box to select the payroll to which an employee belongs. |
Payset |
Use the drop-down list box to select the payset to which an employee belongs. |
Process Period |
The valid authorized process period for the selected payroll-pay set combination. Help facility available. |
Click the “Get” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the results in the multiline based on the search criteria.
Enter the following in the multiline:
Employee Code |
The identification code of an employee. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following in the multiline.
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Enter the following details in the multiline:
Pay Element Code |
The pay element through which the taxable amount is exempted. Help facility available. |
Option |
Use the drop-down list box to select the option to map the pay element exception. |
Value |
The exception value. |
From Process Period |
The starting range of the process period. Help facility available. |
To Process Period |
The ending range of the process period. Help facility available. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the details.
The system saves the details.
