Recording New Department - Position
Ensure that the manpower plan has been saved.
This page is applicable only if the administrator has selected the planning dimension as “Position”.
Select the “New Entry” pushbutton in the “Manpower Planning” page.
The “New Department - Position” page appears.
Enter the following.
Department Description |
A description of the department. Note that this description must exist in the Department Master. |
Position Title |
A description of the new position title. |
Note: The department-position combination must be unique and must not exist in the Manpower planning.
Entry of new Department-Position combination for manpower plan cannot be done if plan is in “Pending for Authorization” or “Authorized” status.
Select the “Save” pushbutton.
Upon clicking the Save pushbutton, the system transfers the new department or position details to the Manpower Planning for Departments page.
The system displays the Budgeted Headcount, Budgeted FTE, Existing Headcount and Existing FTE value as zero (0) as this combination does not exist in previous approved Manpower Planning calendar
You can plan for new department-position combination and again click Save button to update the manpower planning details.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton.
Upon clicking the “Cancel” pushbutton, the system refreshes the screen and takes the user back to the “Manpower Planning” page.
