Selecting the leave calendar to view

Select the “View Leave Calendar” link under the “Leave Definition” component.
The “Select Leave Calendar to View” page appears.
Enter the following

Leave Definition Unit |
From the “Leave Definition Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit under which you require to view the leave calendar. |
To select through Direct Entry
Use this method if you know the complete leave calendar code
Enter the code of the leave calendar whose details you require to view, in the “Leave Calendar Code” field under “Direct Entry”.
Select the “View Leave Calendar” link.
The “View Leave Calendar” page appears, where you can view the attributes of the leave calendar.
To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the leave calendar code.
Enter the following search criteria values, in one or both of the following fields.

Leave Calendar Code |
To retrieve all leave calendar codes containing a given set of characters, type in these characters. For example, if you type in “LC1”, all leave calendar codes containing “LC1” will be displayed. |

Leave Calendar Short Description |
To retrieve all leave calendar descriptions containing specific characters, type in these characters. For example, type in “Executive”, to view all leave calendar descriptions containing the text “Executive”. |

Calendar From |
To retrieve all leave calendars that start on a specified date, type in this date. For example, type in 01/01/2003, to retrieve all leave calendars that start on 01/01/2003. |

Calendar To |
To retrieve all leave calendars that end on a specified date, type in this date |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will retrieve the records that satisfy this value. If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will retrieve the records satisfying all the specified values. If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will retrieve all the records that are applicable to the selected leave definition unit.
The multiline displays the following details of each leave calendar that satisfies the search criteria specified.

Leave Calendar Code |
The unique code that identifies each leave calendar. |

Leave Calendar Short Description |
The short description of the leave calendar. |
|
Calendar From |
The start date of the leave calendar. |
|
Calendar To |
The end date of the leave calendar. |
From the multiline, select the leave calendar to view, by selecting the hyperlinked “Leave Calendar Short Description” field.
The “View Leave Calendar” page appears, where you can view the attributes of the leave calendar.
