Use this page to define all the leave types that will affect the accrual period of a given non-calendar based leave type.
Through this page, you can choose the specific leave types that will affect the periodicity of a non-calendar based leave type. The system will list only those leave types have been defined with the attribute “Affects service period”. Tell me more.
For example, the non-calendar based leave type is “vacation”, and the leave type that will affect its periodicity is “medical leave”. If the periodicity of the “vacation” leave type is from September 1 to October 30, accrual is at the end of the period, and you avail 10 days medical leave within this period, the employee will be able to avail the vacation leave only on November 9. This is because the periodicity of the vacation leave is extended by 10 days.
