Viewing the leave posting units for grade – levels

Ensure that you have retrieved a leave type for which the “Posting” drop-down list box is set to “Grade -Level”, in the “View Leave Type” page.
Select the “View Posting Units for Grade – Level" link, in the “View Leave Type” page.
The “View Leave Posting Units for Grade -Level” page appears. The system displays the following fields from the “View Leave Type” page.

Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |

Leave Definition Unit |
The name of the leave definition unit to which the leave type will be applicable |

Leave Type |
The unique code of the type of leave. |

Grade Code |
The code that identifies the specific grade for which you have defined posting units. |

The description of the grade . |

Level Code |
The code that identifies the specific level for which you have defined posting units. |

The description of the level. |

Service Month From |
The number of months of service from which the leave posting units are applicable to the employees under the specific grade -level combination. For example, if the posting units are applicable for employees whose service ranges from 12 months until 16 months, this field displays “12“. |

Service Month To |
The number of months of service until which the leave posting units are applicable to the employees under the specific grade -level combination. For example, if the posting units are applicable for employees whose service ranges from 12 months until 16 months, this field displays “16“. |

Maximum Posting Units |
The maximum number of leave units for which the employees under the specific grade -level combination can apply, at a stretch. |

The description of the level. |

Use this page to view the maximum number of posting units allowed for each grade – level combination.
You can view the maximum number of leave units for which the employees under each grade -level combination can apply, at a stretch. For example, the employees may be entitled to 30 days of the leave type “privilege leave”, for a calendar year, but they may be able to apply for only 10 days at a stretch.
You can also view the range of months for which the employees must have worked, for this leave posting to become applicable.
