Creating a stored procedure for prorata rule
Select the “Edit Leave Type” link from the left pane.
The “Edit leave type” page appears.
Select the “Define Prorata Rule” link, to enter the “Maintain Stored Procedure" page.
The system displays the following fields.
Rule For |
The description of the business process for which the rule must be applicable. For example, “Leave Management Carry Over Rule” is displayed, if you had selected the link beside the “Carry Over” drop-down list box in the “Edit Leave Type” page. |
Select the “Get” pushbutton.
The system displays the following
Rule ID |
The identification number or code that uniquely identifies the rule. |
Rule Description |
The description of the rule. |
Use the “Stored Procedure Builder” to define a new rule.
Select the “Compile” pushbutton at the bottom of the page.
The system compiles the new rule and displays the values in the “Parameters” and “Database Variables” multilines beside the stored procedure builder.
Use the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the stored procedure rule to delete.
Select the “Delete” pushbutton
The rule is deleted.
To set security permissions for the business rules
Use the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the stored procedure rule.
Select the “Business Rules Security Permissions” hyperlink.
The system displays the “Business Rules Security Permissions” page.
