Viewing parameters for download

Select “View parameters for download” from the “View Interface” screen.
The “View parameters for download” page appears. The system displays the following:

Date format |
The date format applicable to the login user. Tell me more |
|
Interface Definition Unit |
The organization unit where the data transfer setup component is deployed. |
|
Interface Group Description |
The interface group description. |
|
Interface Type |
The interface type displayed is either “upload” or “download”, as interfaces are grouped mainly by two interface types: upload or download. |
|
Interface Code |
The unique code of the interface. |
|
Interface Description |
The description of the interface. |
|
Interface Method |
The method of data transfer in the interface. |
To view the download parameters
Select or enter the download parameters in the multilne.

Parameter Code |
Enter the unique code of the parameter . Examples empcode, empname, sal, P.F etc. |
|
Parameter Name |
Enter the name of the parameter. Examples employee code, employee name, salary, provident fund etc. |
|
Type |
Enter the data type of the parameter. Examples are char, decimal, datetime, float, image, integer, money, numeric, text, varchar etc. |
|
Length |
View the length of the value of the parameter. |

Default |
View the default value |
This screen is used to view the parameters for filter criteria. For example from an employee table if we need to fetch only those employees whose age is greater than 50 and whose salary is less than Rs 30000. Here the parameters for filtering are age and salary.
