Editing an interface group
Select “Edit Interface Group” link from the left pane.
The “Edit Interface Group” page appears.
Select the organization unit where the Data Transfer Setup component is deployed.

Select or enter the following, in the "Search Criteria" group box
Interface Group Code |
To retrieve all interface group codes containing a given set of characters, type in these characters. For example, if you select “A1”, all interface group codes containing the characters “A1“ will be displayed. |
Interface Group Description |
To retrieve all interface group descriptions containing a given set of characters, type in these characters. . |
Interface Type |
To retrieve all interface groups belonging to a specific interface type, select this type from the drop-down list box. For example, if you select “Upload”, all interface groups of the type “Upload” will be displayed. |
Select the "search" pushbutton.
The multiline displays the following details of the interface groups that satisfy your search criteria:
Interface Group Code |
The unique code that identifies each interface group |
Interface Group Description |
The description of the interface group. |
Interface Type |
One of the following types of interface is displayed.
If the interface type is “Upload” the interface is used for uploading data from ASCII files to the application tables. If the interface type is “Download” the interface is used for downloading data from the application tables to the ASCII files. |
Active |
“Yes” is displayed, if the interface group can be accessed by other transactions |
Partial Upload |
“Yes” is displayed if you can upload data even if any error messages are logged “No” is displayed if you can abort the upload process, if any error is logged. |

Any comments related to this screen. |
Edit the following fields, if required: “Interface Type”, “Active”, “Partial Upload” and “Comments”
Select the “Save” pushbutton, to save the edited records.
Retrieve the interface groups to be deleted, so that they are displayed in the “Search Results” multiline.
In the multiline, check the “Select” box contained in each record that you require to delete.
Select the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the selected records.
